Summary: Cute, Sweet, and Perfectly Romantic!
Review: OH My Gosh I loved this movie! I must admit I first saw it for Jude Law because he's just that hot but after I saw it I loved it for the wonderly fun and addorable romance that it is! The acting was great, the story was great, the comedy was...well funny, and (I can't help but mention it) Jude Law looked HOT. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone, better than While you were sleeping and yes even You've got mail! OH, the cuteness, everyone should see it again and again!

Summary: A great movie!
Review: I'll have to agree with another reviewer who said this movie is more about the OTHER members of the family than about Gretchen Mol and Jude Law's relationship, but it's still a great movie. The relationship between Nina, the blind sister, and Jesus, the latino dishwasher, could have made a great movie on it's own. Interspersed in this one, it's still one of the highlights of the film. Some of the situations in this film are great, and there are moments that will really draw you in - especially when Jude Law and Gretchen finally start considering each other. The train station scene at the end should earn a place in movie history for romantic endings. This is one movie you'll find love, laughter, and even tears of sadness in...but you'll love every minute of it.

Summary: Absolutely Magical
Review: I was swept away by the sheer beauty of this love story. Jude Law was brilliant in his portrayal of an artist seeking out his one true love. Gretchen Mol was captivating as her family's caretaker. Their words and movements were beautiful as you watched the entire family discover what true love can be.

Summary: Beautiful love story
Review: I first saw this movie in 1998 (Australia), and loved it. I'm usually not into mushy movies but for some reason this one really struck some chords. I especially loved Jude Law in the film, he was the perfect Danny.

The film didn't get a lot of promotion or publicity though, not many people have heard of it and it's very hard to come by purchase wise. I'd be very interested to get this title on DVD if anyone would know where. Please contact cinder10@hotmail.com if so. Thanks!

Summary: Beautiful
Review: This movie offers some of the most subtle and beautiful truths about the human capacity to love. I am not a hopeless romantic but am hopelessly addicted to this film.

Summary: For the hopeless romantic!
Review: I watched this film on a lazy, Sunday afternoon as it was shown on the romance channel of my local cable network...absolutely perfect! Jude Law and Gretchen Mol are utterly adorable as Danny and Anna! If you love romance, you'll truly love "Music From Another Room".

Summary: Amazing
Review: I did not catch the entire movie, but most of it. As I was flicking through the stations, this movie just caught my eye and I can't wait to order so I can watch the whole thing. It was so heartwarming and romantic. I loved it!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Highly watchable, but not a classic
Review: "Music From Another Room"...strange title for a romantic comedy, perhaps, but it's just another metaphor for love, according to the romantic Danny (the always enchanting and swoon-inducing Jude Law). The storyline is sappy and somewhat contrived (boy tells his father he's going to marry the baby girl he helped deliver, then twenty-odd years pass and they meet up again; sparks fly) but the characters are engaging and the actors do what they can with the sometimes choppy dialogue. Sometimes the movie seems schizophenic, like it's not sure if it's trying to have a moral and a message or if it's just entertaining; characters try to hard to be eccentric. A few subplots all dealing with romance as well are thrown in the mix too, some more successful than others; all pale next to the Law-Mol thread. Still, the movie manages to come through with a general feeling of mushiness that will thrill any closet romantic, especially in the scene at the bakery ("Heads... it was heads," as Savage Garden plays in the background, is enough to make your heart skip a beat and make you sigh). For plot inconsistancies and a scattered storyline, two stars; for sheer entertainment value and for success as a romance, five stars. averaged to four (I rounded up).

Summary: On a Scale of 1-10, this movie gets an 11!
Review: "Music From Another Room", is absolutely on of the best movies that I've seen in a long time. It has it all: romance, charm, charisma, comedic turns, etc. IT's everything that you'd ever want in a good love story; including the perfect ending. I instantly fell in love with, Danny, the lead character. I wanted him to sweep me off my feet. I had never heard of this movie before, so I figured it would only be so-so. I was definitely wrong, and pleasantly surprised! I loved every moment of it! IT touches your heart through every second, and the acting is superb. If you haven't seen it- go rent it and watch it immediately. You won't be disappointed, because THIS MOVIE IS FANTASTIC!

Summary: Beautiful and touching
Review: I would have to say this is a chick-flick but I loved it. I think this is a very inspirational movie that all people should see when they feel down or depressed. It is uplifting and it will definetly make you cry with happiness.
