Summary: What is everyone talking about?
Review: I don't know what everyone one is talking about when they say that this is a horrible movie, or it isn't worth the time to see. I loved this movie. If you are a Julia Styles or Freddie Prinze Jr. fan you will love this movie too. I like them both and I thought that they were great together in this movie.

Summary: Horrible
Review: I loathe to actually give this movie 1 star. VERY rarely will I rent a movie and actually stop watching it halfway through. This is one of the first I've done with. The only movie I've seen that's worse than this is "Simply Irresistible." No, correct that. This was worse. I'm a big fan of teen movies and Julia Styles, which is why it hurts me so much to say how bad thisw film is. It has no plot, the dialogue is horrible, and I don't even think they used a screenplay.

Summary: Wash Down With A Nice Glass of Shampoo
Review: In all my twenty two years of life, and I haven't seen anything come close to the wretchedness of "Down to You". I have suffered through Robin William's "Flubber", dozed off during "Lost in Space", stared in disbelief at "Batman and Robin", but nothing, NOTHING comes close to this awful movie. I lack sufficient command over the English Language to fully describe to you the [bad] acting, the abysmal lighting and sets, the putrid script, and the worst directing job in cinematic history that all came together to form "Down to You."
It fails in every way a film can, on absolutely every level possible.

For those of you who care, the plot concerns the ups and downs in the romantic relationship of two college students, "played" by Julia Stiles and Freddie Prize Jr. In scene after revolting scene, they kiss, fight, cheat on each other, whine and complain about everything, and finally make up. They do all this spouting ... dialogue in a bland and unconvincing fashion, while lit in dismal colors and moving through cheap sets. Yuck.

This is the worst film I have ever seen in a theater, and coupled with the dreadful "Save the Last Dance" has forced me to adopt the iron-fast "Julia Stiles Rule", which stipulates that I will never, ever go see a Julia Stiles film again. There are no exceptions. Do yourself a huge favor and run screaming in the opposite direction whenever you come across a copy of "Down to You". You'll thank me later, I promise.

Summary: Terrible Movie
Review: Overall I would say this movie is a waste of film. The unoriginal, unentertaining plot was only outdone by the level of poor acting. I actually thought Julia Stiles was a really good actress before viewing this movie. I already knew Fredie Prinze was a bad actor. Anyway, I would not recomend this movie to be viewed by anyone. A complete waste of time.

Review: just kidding. if you like this movie, you must know NOTHING about film.

Summary: good movie that's down to earth
Review: this is a nice movie about first falling in love.
Freddie Prinze and Julia Styles meet at a bar and fall in love. you go with them through out their relationship and you watch them grow and learn.

a nice movie with a good cast. the cast includes Austin Kutcher, Selma Blair (Cruel Intentions), Shawn Hatosy (The Facutly), Rosario Dawson, Zak Orth and Henry Winkler.

i enjoyed this movie every much because it's a feel good movie about first falling in love. it's also more down to earth, more real life than some other cheesey love movies. but this movie just doesn't deal with love, it deals with friendships and growing in life as a person. Shawn Hatosy is freaking awsome in this movie. i also like Monk. just a very feel good movie.

this movie also happens to have my favorite song of all time, Al Green's Let Stay Together. Not only does this song come out in Down to You, but Julia Styles also dances to the song.
a very nice movie.
i liked it.

Summary: Lovely Story
Review: I also was of the impression that this film would be just another teen movie. I was completely taken aback by the superb level of acting by both Julia Stiles and Freddie Prinze Jr. I am not usually a fan of romance movies because they are almost all exactly the same. This film possesses something that sets it apart from every other julia roberts/richard gere sappy love story. It was a very entertaining piece of art.

Summary: Worst Movie Ever!
Review: I watched this movie with friend and my mom, and all of us HATED the movie. It was horrible, and disappointing, considering that Julia Stiles and Freddie Prinze Jr are such good actors. I would never recommend this movie to anyone. I can't even describe how bad this movie was. The three of us agreed it was the worst movie any of us had ever seen. It doesn't even deserve one star on my rating.
