Review: This movie stands the test of time! I loved it as a kid (I get more of the entendres now!) and still! So campy and mildly John Waters'ish. Pop culture at it's worst is oh so cool. (ever seen Corey Haim's Video-Autobiography??) **Gotta luv the Elvira Rap!Deffinately a Cult Classic. If this movies got A following, sign me up.

Summary: An underrated mixture of camp and black comedy.
Review: This film has a worthy cult following, and for good reason too. For all those critics who were expecting "Citizen Kane", get real. This is a perfect example of what a film vehicle should be. Not only will dedicated fans of Elvira get everything they hoped for and more, but it's also a great introduction to the Mistress of the Dark for non-fans, who will be entertained and maybe even converted. It's well-written and has some of the best one-liners and sight gags you'll see in a film, all fashioned with Elvira's dark-yet-witty sense of humor. From her game-show will reading to her Las Vegas revue, this is nothing more than a fun romp through Elvira's wild and wicked world. Whatever you do, don't miss the showstopping "Flashdance" spoof!

Review: As usual Leonard Maltin doesn't know what he's talking about. I love this movie and am glad to know there are others here who love it as well. Elvira's classic in this film and who could forget that scene when the hot dog does the flip-flop while she's driving to Las Vegas? Buy this video, you won't be disappointed.

Review: The plot is irrelavent; it is one constant stream of sight gags and snippets of situational comedy. It is an outrageous spoof that is hilarious. Loaded with sexual innuendo (what else would you expect from Elvira?) and cleavage. A good pick anytime you are looking for a movie that's not too deep and full of laughs.

Review: Elvira Mistress of the dark is a one of a kind movie!!! You must see this movie if you haven't yet!! I've seen it about 20 time and it NEVER gets old!!
