Review: What a clever movie! I have watched it over and over and over again. As somebody else wrote "you either love it or hate it", well I loved it! If you have the equipment watch it on DVD rather than video, the digital sound and picture quality is so much better. It is just too bad that the soundtrack won't be released until next year. Oh well, a good thing is always worth waiting for...

Review: "Very Bad Things" does contain all of the necessary elements of a dark comedy. Unfortunately, the mark of a truly great dark comedy is how effectively it drives its satirical point home, and this is where "Very Bad Things" lacks. It takes pokes at a variety of topics, but never leaves you with a feeling that you've affirmed or uncovered some great universal truth. Well acted, but not even close to being the best dark comedy ever (Dr. Strangelove gets my vote). Get this movie ONLY if you have to choose between it and "Ishtar."

Review: This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It had me glued to the set and at the same time laughing hysterically. Im just surprised it didn't get an NC-17 rating. This is film making at its best. You either love it or hate it.

Review: I thought this movie was the worst movie I have ever seen in my life. Just when it started to get bad (the first 10 minutes) it got worse. This movie has little to no plot and leaves the audience with a feeling of disgust and resentment of spending their time see such a horrible film! Movie buffs, spend your time and money somewhere else, unless you are "Very Depressed Already".

Review: Oh come on, the first time a movie comes out with something that REALLY shocks us and suprises us we run away with our arms flailing. I too was freaking out at many parts of the movie. The tension was awesome in lots of parts. I also found myself laughing at lots of parts too. But, MOST people know what black comedies are, so they know what they are in for. This was a true black comedy, so dont expect "Something About Mary" at ANY point in the film! I thought it was great, I told one of my friends and he told his friends at work and everyone started talking about how good it was. Take a chance people, be brave and watch it!

Review: Not too many people like this movie because they find it too gory or they take the plot too seriously. However, I LOVE IT! It's one of the best films I have ever seen. I've never laughed so much in my life, especially at the end with Cameron Diaz's incomparable performance. It's the perfect movie to watch when you're stressed out or just feeling plain insane. Two thumbs up for Peter Berg for writing and directing such a brilliant film!

Review: I rated the movie one star because they compared the movie to "Something about Mary", which is a true comedy. But dont get me wrong, the film does not go without merit. If you expecting a gut wrenching comedy - forget it because it's not! It's actually a tale of something that innocently goes wrong but goes awry. Every scene thereafter complicates matters worse by outdoing the previous one, creating even a bigger mess.
