Summary: Not The Best Sandler, But Still Pretty Good
Review: This is a pretty funny movie! Sure, it's no "Happy Gilmore" but it's still pretty good. I think that the way Little Nicky talks is kinda annoying, but it's still a pretty funny movie. The dog is really funny, and the borthers are psycho! What I want to know is, after the gate to hell closes, how come all of the souls trapped there dissapear??? Anyway, this isn't a DVD you should spend money on (although I did, haha). Rather, you should rent it or borrow it from a friend. That's my advice! Enjoy!

Summary: No Waterboy or Happy Gilmore but still a good one!
Review: Little Nicky was for some reason one of my favorites from Sandler. Everyone else I knew absolutely hated this movie but I thought it was one of the funniest movies he had done. I will stress that ir's no Waterboy or Happy Gilmore but Little Nicky is still worth it.

Nicky (Sandler) is 1 of 3 sons of the Devil (Harvey Keitel) and after he tells his sons that he will rule in Hell for another 10,000 years, Nicky's other brothers Casius and Adrian become outraged and leave Hell! By them doing this, they freeze the gates of hell and make it so no souls can be taken into hell, leaving the Devil powerless and slowly weakening. It's up to Nicky to bring back his 2 brothers within a week or his father will die. As Nicky searches for his brothers, he makes new friends and also finds a special someone in Patricia Arquette.

O.k. I realize that the plot and story sound really silly now but it's really the laughs and comedy that make this movie funny. Also, there are numerous cameos and the supporting cast is very strong in this one with stars such as Rodney Dangerfield, Harvey Keitel, Patricia Arquette, Keviin Nealon, Jon Lovitz, John Witherspoon, Clint Howard, Dana Carvey, Michael McKean, Quentin Tarantino, Reese Witherspoon, Carl Weathers, many more and a very excellent cameo from TV's most popular reality dad, Ozzy Osborne.

I took off a star for a pretty dumb reason considering it has very little to do with the movie but, on the Soundtrack there are a lot of songs that are missing that should be on there like "Running With the Devil", "Highway to Hell", the acoustic version of "Everlong" and "South Town". I think the soundtrack would have been that much better if those songs were on there.

Anyway, still a great movie. If you're still unsure about it, you can always rent it first but I assure you that you would be better off just buying it because you'll keep getting laughs from this one.

Summary: Worth it for the supportinng cast
Review: Little Nicky (PG-13)- There was A LOT to laugh at in this movie but none of the laughs were generated from its star who is trapped in a frozen face and a retarded voice for the film's duration. But the supporting players more than make up for the screenplay's major crevices. For the most part, this movie is a major miss but the hits are on the floor in tears funny. Could someone please explain Quentin Tarantino???

Summary: Not Adam Sandler's Best
Review: Adam Sandler has made some great movies. Although "Little Nicky" was not terrible, it was a little disappointing compared to some of his other hits. First of all, the whole plot and setting were a little far-fetched. It was completely unrealistic. We all know that hell is not a fun place and the devil is not a nice guy. The movie has its funny lines, just like all of Adam Sandler's, but it was not nearly as quotable as "Billy Madison" or "The Water Boy." It's not a waste of an hour and a half; however, the time would be better spent watching his newer film, "Mr. Deeds."

Summary: Sandler's Worst
Review: There are some funny moments in "Little Nicky." Sandler plays the title character who is one of Satan's three sons. He must go to Earth to bring his brothers back down home. Nicky doesn't fit in New York with his slurred speech and ugly look (damn, is he dumb or what?). A nice woman named Valerie (good name) treats the stranger kindly. The basketball sequence is the best part with a kid telling the audience he was there for the 'honeys' and the cameos are all funny. Regis in the only good thing he'll ever do and Reese Witherspoon as Nicky's mom. But everything else is for the children. Rodney Dangerfield still doesn't get respect and you'll see why. Demons in a pillow fight? A talking dog that sounds like that stupid puppet dog was way too annoying. Just skip to the funny parts. Sandler has definitely made better movies.

Summary: The Most Underrated Sandler Movie Ever
Review: Why don't people like this movie??? I saw it 3 times in theaters because I liked it so much! It's great! I mean, Adam Sandler's the devil's son. How can you not like a movie with a plot like that? Anyway, if you're a true Sandler fan, I recommend this movie. It's funny, has a great soundtrack, and has Ozzy Osbourne in it! GET THIS NOW!!!!

Summary: Great DVD and some great features
Review: This movie is fun, no not funny but fun. It seems like people either hated this movie or loved it. I personaly loved it. I thought Sandler's character was just cool. The movie looked asome. The camio's were great and it is a classic movie in my book. This wont be remembered as Sandler's classic with the fans, but a certain few will remember it forever. The many documentary's and filmography's make this a DVD to buy.

Summary: Hell has never been so much fun....
Review: I will admit that when I first saw the previews for this movie I was somewhat offended by it, because I am a Catholic and I thought that the movie poking fun at christianity and making hell seem like an ok place would offend me, but after watching it, I actually seemed to enjoy it. It pokes fun at both heaven and hell but not in a way that is too insulting. Adam Sandler is hilarious as Little Nicky the son of Satan, although I thought that his performance was funny, his speech impediment got a little bit on my nerves after awhile. Harvey Keitel's performance as Satan was devilishly funny and witty, he did an amazing job. It was great to see Sandler being reunited with a lot of his costars from previous movies including Allen Covert as his flamboyantly gay roomate and aspiring actor and Clint Howard as the nipple rubbing man which just cracked me up. While the humor gets a little bit out hand at times such as Jon Lovitz being humped by a big black bird and one of the devils getting boobs on his head, it still proves to be funny. Look out for other great cameos by Rodney Dangerfield as Lucifer, Patricia Arquette as Little Nicky's girlfriend Valerie and Dana Carvey as a basketball referee.

Summary: Wow ..... what a piece of garbage!
Review: This movie almost (by itself) destroyed Adam Sandler's career. Not that its much of a career, he plays the same character in all of his films .... but it's a likable character. By the end of this film though, I wanted to reach through the screen and smack Sandler so bad to make him stop that ridiculous voice.

His friends were their usual funny selves, but the talking dog (Smeigel) was just bad. I expect higher standards from the same guy who does Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.

I do agree that there are some great cameo's though and Keitel does a great job in his limited role. But these do not save this film.
