Summary: An entertaining film
Review: This film was entertaining. Keanu Reeves and Diane Lane were great in this movie. Be warned, it turns into a shocking tear-jerker but overall it is a very cute movie. There is a lot of bad language in this film, so I wouldn't recommend it for very young children. I think it's a fine film to watch with your children, provided they are warned about the language before hand.

Summary: Greatest buy of the year (2001)
Review: It was a great movie the best baseball movie of the year (what am I saying) EVER!!!!! I'm outa words I don't want to give it away it's not worth it it's better to watch (BUY IT!!!!) even if you don't have interest for baseball it still has a good storyline

Summary: Keanu Reeves best performance.
Review: I was really SHOCK to see Keanu play in this type of movie. He did a great job. His best work yet. The kids were great little actors. The plot was predictable but great. I wonder what made Keanu pick this movie.

Summary: I've seen worse
Review: Obviously, this movie tries to be very manipulative with your heartstrings, and plays too much on how you are supposed to react: Love the kids, accept that they go from terrible to championship team with no in-between, accept that Keanu Reeves's character stops being a low-life and gambling addict in a blink, accept that the guy just happens to almost perfectly relate to kids (from a different race, at that), and accept that Diane Lane's character will fall for such a guy without seeing anything romantic actually happen to them. Oh, and of course, the "littlest" and cutest kid in the movie is the one to go. Still, if you don't think too hard and try not to expect too much, this movie would be okay for a one-time viewing. It would have been a pretty good date movie if Keanu Reeves and Diane Lane had a little more chemistry and were better actors. Well, if Diane Lane was, anyway---Keanu Reeves is a national treasure and one of cinema's greatest actors, right up there with Robert DeNiro, Gene Hackman, and Patrick Swayze!

Summary: I love it when you call me big poppa!!
Review: I had little to no intention of ever watching this movie and luckily one day being bored I figured I would give it a glance...and eneded up glued to the TV right to the end. I was amazed that Keanu pulled this roll off. But the true stars were the kids, I really ended up feeling for them and the lives they had to live. The only thing they ever did that was ever fun....was play baseball. Bad News Bears it's not! Sure you know what the ending is and if you ignore the fact that Keanu never coaches them once until the end of the movie, you'll find a really great film you may have missed, like I did.

Summary: they don't make films like this anymore, but they did.
Review: This is a tender little film, that I found quite captivating. With a mix of drama and comedy, director Brian Robbins keeps it well paced. Its simplicity and unpretentiousness are refreshing..it made me laugh and cry, and I found it entertaining from start to finish.
The children are adorable; DeWayne Warren as G-Baby and Julian Griffith as Jefferson are remarkable in what are the most memorable parts, but all of them are equally good.

Diane Lane and Keanu Reeves make a great pair. They look so natural, and the "I'm interested in anything I'm supposed to be interested in" scene is priceles, a gem I'll look forward to seeing many times. Had the marketing experts used that clip in their ad campaigns, I think this would have drawn in an even bigger audience than it did (this film was on the Top 20 Box Office charts much longer than anyone expected).

Keanu Reeves gives one of his very best performances. It's a sensitive, quirky, and very funny portrayal of a man who has made one too many bad decisions. It is a role Jimmy Stewart would have done to perfection, but so does Keanu. An incredibly unique and underrated actor in my opinion, he has grown and dug deeper with this film, and we see an actor showing us his heart.

Not a film for the "bigger/faster/louder" crowd, this one, though the plot is predictable, is surprising; a sweet and loving film, with exceptional acting, notably from Mr. Reeves. He is greatness in the making, with inner/outer beauty that grows with every year.

Summary: It not Bull Durham or Field of Dreams but it is still good.
Review: Like 1993's Rookie of the Year, this movie also has a team that plays home baseball games in Chicago, but the team is not a major league team like the Chicago Cubs or Chicago White Sox. But instead it is a little league team. Conor O'Neill (Keanu Reeves) is a man that has a betting problem, ans wins up owning a lot of money, so he turns to a freind who a job, and winds up being paid $500 to coach little league baseball, while he is out of town. The actors who plays kids on the team go from DeWayne Warren to Michael Jordan (not the NBA star). If you were (like me) expecting to see Michael Jordan playing Jamal, he is a kid with the same name.

Summary: Show Up!
Review: Conor O'Neill (Keanu Reeves) is a man who suffers from a gambling addiction and has ended up with a $12000 debt. He seeks out a friend in order to pay of his debt, but instead ends up with a coaching job that pays $500 week for coaching underprivileged kids in the rough parts of Chicago. Conor does not enjoy his new position, but he needs some money in order to begin paying of the loan sharks. He also wants to set up another big bet where wants to borrow a rather large amount of money in order to cover the bet, and at the same time he wants to get away from the coaching job. However, the kids on the team make him see something else. Hardball is a film that entertains and exposes a story about our existence.

Summary: A MUST SEE MOVIE ----- SUPER FILM
Review: This is another SUPER movie that Keana Reeves has recently made. He is on his way to being a SUPERSTAR. This movie deals with the REAL WORLD of Poor Areas. The kids in the Movie did a WONDERFUL JOB. By the time the movie is over you will have laughed and cried.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: THIS MOVIE IS TITE
Review: This movie is a great movie for mature kids cuz theres bad words and stuff. Its funny and also sad. The kids in it are really funny. This movies my favorite movie.
