Summary: A MUST-HAVE 4 ANY GIRL WHO DREAMT OF A ROCKSTAR BOYFRIEND!
Review: "Sooner or Later" is a must-see/must-have movie for all whomever dreamed of having a rockstar boyfriend while in their teens! Although the movie is set in the late 70s, it is sure to fulfill fantasies even in the new millenium. (I'm 26 yrs old and still love this movie!) Rex Smith plays "Michael Skye", a 17 yr old heart-throb in tight jeans who isn't just another pretty face -- he can sing! "Jessie" is a 13 yr old girl who undergoes transformation via a make-up make-over at a New Jersey mall. While looking "sweet 16," Jessie exits the mall with "Caroline" (her 13 yr old best friend who has a Shaun Cassidy poster on her bedroom wall) who then make their way to the stage at a Skye Band concert held in the mall parking lot. Michael sings a few lines of his song, "It's Better Than It's Ever Been Before," focusing directly on Jessie. It's instant attraction. Jessie is so inspired that she decides to take guitar lessons of her own. Guess whom her tutor turns out to be? Jessie succeeds in hiding her true age and tells Michael she is 16 -- at first.... Buy the movie to find out what happens next! You won't regret it. Even if you don't enjoy the story line, it's hilarious watching Rex Smith navigate the green 70s "battlewagon" with a huge eagle hood-ornament around town. (Totally uncool car!) Plus, you'll hear some of the other Rex Smith songs such as "You Take My Breath Away." This movie has been selling on internet auctions for over a hundred dollars these past few years. Its re-release is way past due. Get it while you can!

Summary: Oh to be in love with a ROCKSTAR...
Review: Come on you remember your 1st crush right? Well for Jesse, she falls for her guitar teacher, and lies about her age, and he falls in love with her, but then finds out her real age, then doesnt want to see her anymore, then they make up and he doesnt care about how old she is, well you get the picture...its a very cute flick, brings back those memories when i was in lust with Rex Smith myself..lol. Good soundtrack in the movie too."You take my breath away" and the hit.."Sooner or Later" Maybe good for the younger teenage crowd, or those females fans of Rex!!

Summary: Welcome Back to the 70's
Review: Having been in Jr.High/Middle School, when this movie was originally released in 1978, I can honestly say that this movie stuck with me for all of these years. I still own the vinyl copy of the soundtrack from 1978. Furthermore, I was so thrilled to purchase it on VHS, and now DVD. If any of you remember this time period, you know that this movie will take you back to those old feelings, when you saw an older boy and wished that he could be yours. When you got him, you felt scared, and alive. This movie will bring back those wonderful feelings and more. In addition, this is where the song "You take my breath away" was originally released. Rex Smith is a charmer and oh so handsome. You'll simply love it!

Summary: IT'S BETTA THAN IT'S EVA BEEN BEFORE!!!
Review: I am so excited that this movie has been released again. I just got my DVD a couple of days ago. I never got to see it on t.v., and had rented it several times a few years ago. Then it disappeared from the video store. I have been a big fan of Rex Smith since I was 9 years old, and he is just so sexy and talented in this movie. It's his showcase. He has an amazing singing voice, and is such a charming actor. He really brings Michael Skye to life!! All the other actors in this film are great too. It's a romance/comedy/drama about a teenager, Jessie. She's thirteen, and falls in love with Michael Skye(who wouldn't?). She tells him alot of lies to be with him. This is a very endearing film and it has stood the test of time. I don't know if the guys will like it, but ladies...you will enjoy this movie!! Whether you are 13 or 31!!! Watch it and see how it turns out. You'll also get to hear Rex Smith perform, and I think the songs are great. Very catchy tunes. Hopefully they will put it on CD as my old LP is very scratched!!! This is probably the best t.v. movie ever made , in my opinion. I don't know why this movie ever disappeared. I'm just glad it's back as it truly is BETTER THAN IT'S EVER BEEN...

Summary: The Best Birthday Gift Ever!
Review: I can't wait to get this DVD! For over 20 years I have been waiting to see this movie again. I saw it at age 12 when it first aired and, like others my age, immediately fell in love with Rex Smith. In my dreams, I was the girl in this movie. A few years ago while grocery shopping, I heard one of the songs from the movie, "You Take My Breath Away," (one of my all time faves), and right in the middle of the grocery store I started to cry! I couldn't help it! After almost 20 years, all those adolescent emotions were still there!...

Summary: Still love it
Review: I fell in love with this movie and Rex Smith the first time I saw this movie in 1979 when I was 16. I have wanted to see it again for years. I still have my record albumn of the soundtrack. When I saw the movie was available on VHS, I ordered it right away. I watched it the same day I received it and watched it again the next day. I still love the movie and songs and fell in love with Rex Smith's part as Michael again. I cried when Michael sang to Jessie and also when her heart was broken. I felt like I was 16 again. I think it's a great movie about growing up.

Review: I have yet to see this movie on DVD, but I am buying it today! The best made-for-tv movie of that time. I still watch my copy regularly on VHS.
