Review: This movie is absolutely hilarious. The mouse out smarting the two brothers was very well done. The movie was clearly influenced by the Home Alone movie and had various Laurel & Hardy type antics in it. Christopher Walken as the Pest control man was very fitting. Basically if you like slap stick comedy and silly skits this is a movie to check out. An enjoyable piece for the whole family. I highly recommend it for all age groups.

Review: this movie was da pits. as a 12 year old child I would say that this movie is for maybe 3 years old kids and under. A very old plot a cute trouble maker outs marting the big "bad guys" it was weak and I barley got through it

Review: The music in Alan Silvestri's Mouse Hunt is phenominal! He creates the feeling of emotion throughout the whole movie. His music in this film provides an energetic feel to a sad or emotional mood to even a heartwarming feeling. It is a work of genius in my opinion! I would recommend this to anyone.

Summary: The second worst movie I have ever seen in my life
Review: MOUSE HUNT is the second worst movie I have ever seen. The worse was, naturally, MARS ATTACKS. I couldn't believe how awful MOUSE HUNT was. I am not a sicko. I refuse to find death funny, because it isn't. There is a scene in this movie where the mayor, a fat, lovable character, chokes on a cockroach and dies. This leaves his family- a wife and two children- mourning for him during their Christmas vacation. How is that supposed to be funny? Two innocent kids left without a father and a woman made a widow right before Christmas. It's not funny- it's almiost the saddest thing I ever heard. Another piece of sick humor is the guy's dead body being thrown into the sewer. Yet another piece of sick humor is a lovable cat being killed when a box falls ontop of him. Yet another piece of sick humor was the woman's hair catching on fire- she could have been easily killed. All through the rest of the movie I couldn't bare to watch anymore- I kept fretting over the possibility of another death which the sickos behind the movie expect innocent kids to laugh at. I find it depressing when I hear a child chuckle over a death, saying "That's cool" or "That was great." And Mouse Hunt certainly did a lot to create this effect. Even without the midnight black humor, the movie STILL would have been awful due to the obvious rip-off of HOME ALONE. This film depressed me for months after I saw it, and I lost my faith in movies for a long, long time.

Summary: A movie for all the family
Review: Mousehunt is the kind of children's movie adults can watch with the youngsters. It actually works on two different levels. The slapstick and the cute mouse will thrill the young, while the old can enjoy the amazing and slightly dark art direction (Tim Burton flashback!) and some hilarious performances (Christopher Walken is unreal!). The movie does lose it in the end, but by then, the viewer has had so much to laugh about already, that it can be forgiven. Also, the DVD is of exceptional quality, with nice menus and decent extras. Way to go Dreamworks, keep up the good work.

Summary: Funniest movie I've seen since Laurel and Hardy movies.
Review: Two brothers inherit a string factory and an old house from their father. The house (valuable because it was designed by a famous architect) is inhabited by a diabolically clever mouse that defies all efforts to exterminate it. Nathan Lane and his "brother" are hilarious. I never thought I'd enjoy this movie but ended up loving it. The premise is not new but the ambience, the sets, the characters involved are all so different and funny that it sweeps one along. I'm a "smiler" and generally enjoy without laughter, but this movie had me howling out loud. If you have any sense of humor, you'll love it.

Summary: Better than Mickey, and a great movie for adults as well
Review: Mousehunt is an absolutely fantastic movie. The best part about it is that the adults will love just as much as the kids, if not a little bit more (it's ok, you don't have to admit it). Lee Evans' physical comedy is classic and he has it down to a science. He was even better in "Funnybones". The best part of the entire movie, however, is the exterminator, "Caesar",played by my favorite actor, Christopher Walken. That segment was so hilarious, I laughed to the point where my cheek muscles cramped. The rest is just as good, I just am biased in Walken's contribution for obvious reasons. A classic addition to any home theater colletion! I give it two thumbs up while pointing both big toes skyward as well.
