Summary: Funniest Movie you've never heard of
Review: I recommend this movie to anyone who likes comedy. This could possibly be one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I wish I could do this movie a justicewith words, but I can't. My friend bought this movie because he thought the cover was funny, we ended up watching it 5 or 6 times within a week. Once you watch this film you will want to show everyone you know. It is definitly a movie you can watch over and over. Highly recommended!

Review: I love Mr. Show, and expected a great movie - but I was disappointed. This is a sketch comedy that should have lasted no more than 15 minutes. There are definately some very funny scenes - including several "deleted scenes", but it's not Mr. Show.

Review: I have watched this DVD many times and it still cracks me up every time I see it. You and your friends will be qouting the halarious lines from this movie. Too bad this was never released it theaters because David Cross and Bob Odenkirk are so funny and deserve a lot of respect.

Summary: Better than Mr. Show!
Review: I was and am a huge fan of Mr. Show with Bob and David, but I'd be the first to admit it sometimes fell flat. This film was HILARIOUS! It's the type of offensive and subversive humor Bob and David have specialized in since the Eighties. If you aren't easily offended and you can handle a somewhat slow opening, this film truly delivers. I was startled by the bad reviews, because I just watched this thing twice and am looking forward to seeing it again.

Review: I was very suprised at how funny this was. It's a great, clever, brainless movie. I showed it to a friend who never saw Mr. Show and he's going on and on at how funny Ronnie Dobbs is. My wife even liked it! Don't pay any attention to these 1 or 2 other dud movie critic-wannabes. Ronnie Dobbs rules!

Summary: All I was hoping for and more
Review: I was quite shocked to see that a number of customer reviews of this film were not possitive ones. I am a huge Mr Show fan, and I thought this film was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. The idea of staring at a screen with this movie playing on it, and not enjoying oneself (provided one has a taste for this sort of humor in general)is conceptually ungraspable for me. There were parts I missed the first time I saw it as I was still laughing at something from the scene before. My friends all agree. I highly recommend this picture. Don't listen to those people who say it was weak. They don't know what they're talking about (no matter how much they think they do.) It's really a hillarious movie.

Summary: Well, I'll explain...
Review: FIRST: MY OPINION MATTERS! Because I one of the many losers that shells out his hard working cash, sits through these horrible movies time and time again, hoping, praying for one of these sketch shows to turn out the next cinematic Holy Grail of comedy, but what usually gets turned out is crap!!
AND I'LL TELL YOU WHY: I enjoyed Run Ronnie Run, only because my expectations were so low. Thanks to Mister Cross.
I can sum up in easy to understandishable words what the problem was (as well as what the problem is with so many of these types of movie, i.e. "Brain Candy", and just about everything Adam Sandler has done outside of the retards he played on SNL)
The reason why -- Life of Brian, Holy Grail, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles are so awesome is because for the most part they were working within a somewhat fixed story structure -- in other words if you don't have enough plot, or character for a whole movie, learn from South Park and make it a goddamn musical! Which they almost had in Run Ronnie Run. They also had a good idea with the title, if they would've only stuck with story structure of a "Run Lola Run" this mess that got spooged out on celluloid might have had a freakin' chance to live!!!The five star rec is out of respect, the review is out of love.

Review: Run Ronnie Run is great. I don't fully understand why the director and Bob & Dave disowned it. David Cross even disowned his hilarious part in Scary Movie 2. The movie reminds me of "Brain Candy" by Kids In The Hall, which I hope is a good thing. The feature film format takes a momentary getting-used-to. If I had to list standout scenes from Run Ronnie Run, I would list them all. All of the Mr. Show players deliver. Even though the film repeats some skits, it also skews them, showing how versatile these people are. As fresh (and quotable) as the series.
