Review: This movie is the funniest movie you'll ever watch in your life!! I watch it over and over and the laughs just keep on comin'!!. Jim Carrey is the funniest dude alive and he did a great job in this movie. Every two seconds he's doing or saying something sooooo hilarious!!! My friends and I repeat things that he says like, "Laaaaaaahoooooozaaaaaaaahhhhhheerrrrrrrrr!" and its soo funny! I find myself spazing like crazy every time I watch it! He has the funniest facial expressions too and even just looking at him will make you pee your pants!!! DEFINITELY WATCH IT!!!

Summary: AN ENTERTAINING SEQUEL, BUT NOT AS FUNNY AS THE ORIGINAL
Review: In "When Nature Calls", Jim Carrey replays his role of the extravagant pet detective Ace Ventura. This time the movie is set in Africa, where Ventura must find a sacred animal, which happens to be the only animal that Ace dislikes: a white bat, he must find this creature in order to restore the peace between two rival tribes. As you can see, the plot is almost the same we saw in the first "Ace Ventura". Our favorite (and only) pet detective must find a very important animal, the problem is that in this sequel, the jokes aren't very funny; a lot of the things from the original film are repeated once again making "When Nature Calls" a by-the-numbers mandatory sequel. But if you liked the first one, and you like Jim Carrey's jokes, it's worth to see it one or two times. Pay special attention to three scenes: the opening sequence, the mechanical rhino disguise, and the astral projection of Ace and his monkey buddy, those are the best scenes.

Review: If you are a Ace Ventura fan, this movie is a topper of the two. When I saw Ace Ventura The pet Detective (first movie) I thought it was one of the craziest movies I ever saw. Ace Ventura has the most vulgure antics uncontrolled. As in the same with this movie but the style has a little better humor to it. As Ace travles to Africa in order to aid a accient tribe from exstinction as a war is apon them when a tribal Bat has been stolen. In the process of uncovering a evil plot he is found with little or no time to rescue the Bat save the tribe. Can he do it, Can-he-do-it?

Review: Jim Carrey definitly strives to be a comical force in the movie business. And in his days of Ace Ventura, he's done quite well. I love this movie, love it. It has so many hilarious ingredients that make this one the best movies Mr. Carrey has ever done. I don't think there's any doubt that "When Nature Calls" is better than "Pet Detective", I will say that. If you disagree I can certainly view why and that's understood. But what's lacking here is a great all around performance from the lead character. I realize that 'Ace' is an all-funny-no-seriousness type of guy, and that works well for the movie. But it's hard to compare Jim's accomplishments here with the likes of his other movies "The Truman Show" or even "Liar Liar"; in which he played more rounded, real characters. What makes this film more popular, and better than those, is the fact that people love stupidity. I'm one of them; heck, I gave it 3 stars, but I think in the long run Jim Carrey will have to do more with his characters to get 5 star ratings from me (or at least star in Dumb and Dumber 2). Anyway, this movie is very good and very funny. You won't stop laughing, I promise you that. Do what I did and take it for what it's worth, which is a great deal of laughter.

Summary: Typical Jim Carrey Hilarity
Review: I've heard a lot of people say that the original Ace Ventura movie was better than the second. I didn't think so. I can't really explain why, but the story had more appeal to me in the second movie. I guess I didn't really connect well with a story about a kidnapped dolphin (kidnapped sacred white bats are much more interesting!).
After failing to save an animal in a scene not unlike one in Cliffhanger, Ace is a broken man. A man is sent to find him in behalf of a British Consulate in Africa. He finds Ace in a Buddhist monastery, where he seems to have been purged of all "earthly" things. The priest in charge convinces him that it would be a shame to stay and not help a defensless animal, so Ace accepts. The animal he was hired to find is a white bat, one that is held to be sacred by two different African tribes, one being peaceful (the wachati), the other not (the wachootoo). The princess of the wachati tribe was to marry the oldest son of the chief from the wachootoo tribe, and the bat was her dowry. The wachootoo view the dissappearance both an insult and a curse. Unfortunately they decide to slaughter all the people in the other tribe. Unless Ace can find the bat on time, the people of the wachati tribe are doomed.

It has everything the first movie has only 10 times better, and with a lot of african dudes and some great parodies and jokes.
If you are or arn't a jim carrey fan you'll love it as Ace slinks along with his usual walk and hairstyle. And as in Ace's own words: "Everyone loves a slinky!"

Summary: Laughed My Butt Off
Review: I was with my friend and there was nothing to do, so I decided to rent this. I'd heard it was terrible compared to the first, but I thought, Ah, what the hell, it's got Carrey, it's bound to a little funny. Boy, was I right! MUCH better than the first. I was literally rolling from laughter. Ace is back, investigating the theft of a bat. (Incidentally, he hates bats.) As in the first, this is a complicated mystery, not just a comedy.
Buy and enjoy! Don't miss the projector scene!
