Review: There is only one reason to watch this movie. And that is for Bill Murray's performance. Horrible story line, with an ex-champion bowler (Woody H.) who loses his hand because he con'd some high rollers in a bowling game.Now 17 years later he is a boozed out, washed up bum. Murray is wonderful in his part as a slick, fancy talking bowler. I can't believe I watched the whole thing. There should be a minus rating on this one. Do the dishes instead.

Review: I first saw this movie on video a year and a half ago and I was sold. This is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen and the arrogant Ernie McCracken (played by Bill Murray) is fantastic. This DVD release of the film (in anamorphic 16x9) is a tribute to this magnificant comedy and the combination of disgusting scenes and absurd situations makes this movie a MUST BUY!!

Review: I love this movie,it kills me.I'm shocked reading the bad reviews here.If you love the comb-over hairstyle you'll love this movie.It's something About Mary,as great as it is,was a disappointment to me after this crazy thing.I can't wait for the new R-rated version with the extra 4 minutes of bad behavior.

Review: I'm a highbrow type guy, really. My favorite film is "The Sweet Hereafter" This movie is stupid and very simple and very, very funny. I didn't like "Dumb and Dumber" at all, but I laughed and cried and had a great time watching "Kingpin."

I firmly believe the intellectual deconstruction of cinema is rewarding, it leads to the combination of new ideas, indeed a new vocabulary. The elements of really fine films have invented this vocabulary of visual thinking. . . but hey this ain't no art film, so what the heck am I taking about. Watch, enjoy, you'll see.

Summary: A great movie unfairly ignored
Review: The Farrelly brothers have done three movies: "Dumb and Dumber," "There's Something About Mary," and "Kingpin." "Dumb" and "Mary" were both smash hits, yet "Kingpin" was ignored upon release because MGM dumped it in theaters during the Olympics with no fanfare. Thankfully, on video and cable it got a huge cult following. I'm so happy that the R rated version is coming out on DVD. This is the version that should have been released in the first place. And forget "Rushmore," Bill Murray should have won an Oscar for this. He's the MVP of "Kingpin"!!!!!!!!
