Summary: IS THERE SOME SORT OF ALIEN ATTACK HAPPENING HERE
Review: I rented Evolution and Balto 2 Wolf Quest and Balto 2 was just
plain stupid so I was glad that Evolution was much better!

Its about this giant rock that crashes on Earth and it seems to
be carrying aliens!

So David-Moore-Jones and Scott try to stop them all from taking
over the Earth and ending humankind!

I would recommend this movie to anyone who is in the mood to watch some shakin aliens and Sean William Scott!

My favorite alien was the one that flew in the mall-the bird alien-because he looked like a dragon!

Summary: um...
Review: At first I was expecting to laugh... when, after about 30 minutes, that never happened, I began to wonder if maybe this was some kind of daring comedy in which the entire movie is just one big lead-up to an incredible punchline or something.

I don't remember that happening either, yet this movie still rakes in 5-star reviews from amazon customers. I'm hoping this is because I simply didn't get the subtle, highly advanced humor used in this film, and not just because some people will eat up anything... that has "Stiffler" from American Pie in it.

Summary: Not a brilliant comedy, but great visual effects
Review: If you're over 13, and not a shill working for the movie studio, you're not going to think this movie is funny. However, if you're into 3D animation, or admire the visual effects work of Tippett Studio, then you should definately get the DVD, and you'll want to study some sequences frame by frame. Once it gets going (after the first 20 minutes or so), this movie really is a great showcase of computer-animated creatures and effects, which would have received more acclaim from the industry if they hadn't appeared in a bad comedy. It seemed when it came out that nobody wanted to talk about the great sequences in this film, just because they didn't want to act as though they were into laim comedies with lots of fart jokes and david duchovny mooning the camera, but if you just watch the whole thing in director-commentary mode from the beginning, you'll be really glad to have this disc.

Review: A laugh out loud comedy!! Although somewhat stupid story line, it's a good movie to watch on a cold day. Story line a little week, but they keep the action and jokes flowing. Ok movie to buy for your collection.

Summary: Do not Evoulutionize
Review: I really dislike this movie. The cast was good and there were like 2 good laughs but it was just worthless. The story line was very bad and the dialouge was even worse. I was about a metoer than crashed into the Earth. when they found it, it was leaking this blue stuff. When David Duchovny looked at it through a microscope he sees that it is growing exremely fast. I dont feel like telling anymore because this movie sickened me. Save your money. DONT see this movie.

Summary: I love this movie!
Review: This movie is hilarious. David Duchovny plays scientist Ira Kane. He used to work for the government but was kicked out because of an incident he caused. Orlando Jones is scientist/vollyball coach Harry Block. Together they investigate a meteor that crashed into the earth. Upon taking a sample, they realize this isn't just old meteor. Eventually the government shows up and the battle begins. Jullianne Moore is a clumsy scientist who works for the government has her funny moments and Sean William Scott of American Pie fame wants to be a fireman is equally funny. With some pretty good special effects and some hi flyin' fun, this movie is a blast.
There are some behind the scenes stuff and a replay of the movie with commentary from Ivan Reitman, Duchovny, Jones, and Scott that is almost as funny as the movie.
Get this movie. It's alot of fun.

Summary: An updated remake of Ghostbusters...
Review: Take Ivan Reitman, add Dan Ackroyd, mix in David Duchovny and Julianne Moore, use the script for Ghostbusters but move the setting from the city to the desert of northern Arizona and you've got, well, Evolution. This is a fun and enjoyable movie, especially if you (like my young son) haven't seen Ghostbusters. For me, it was deja vu. Haven't I seen this somewhere? Yep, there's even a slimy, goofy ending to the movie. My 9-year-old loved it. I liked it. Evolution is a cute movie, but it is so apparently a remake of Ghostbusters that it should have been titled Ghostbusters: The New Millennium, or something like that. So, if you want to see Ghostbusters set in the area around Page, Arizona, get this. It's entertaining, but only gets three stars due to a total lack of originality...

Summary: DE-BUGGING!
Review: Bless David Duchovny!

Unpretentious, he never seems to take himself seriously, and he does have a delicious sense of humor - so there! Who else would take a close cousin to his "X" Files persona, and bravely submit this to parody! He is very funny - intentionally funny in this - not spectacular, but still effective little Reitman gem!

The same sentiment applies to the ever-versatile Julianne Moore.

Special moments? Duchovny's interrogation by Moore, the shoplifter in the mall and naturally the "Bug up the *** sequence" - that alone is worth the price of this DVD. It "strangely" expires due to this litle expedition it instigates......crude, but - yes funny!

So, let's add a little humor to life!

The special effects CGI are excellent - nice little companion to "Men In Black" [or for a totally different side of Mr. Duchovny - "The Rapture"!]

Summary: Charles Darwin is rolling over...
Review: This movie is plagued by lame dialogue, bad acting, ill-advised physical comedy and more. There are a couple of laughs at the end (I won't spoil it for people who still feel the need to see this) -- and Sean William "Stiffler" Scott is always good in his stoner persona, but this was still a disappointment. Julianne Moore is hopeless as the clutzy government scientist. I was also shocked by the really inferior video quality of this DVD. The film had an ever-present dull, grainy appearance. At least a nice transfer would have made this fiasco a little more watchable. A rental at best.

Summary: heckload of fun
Review: this was fun but stupid theorys like the head and shoulders theory ruined it.
