Summary: Major Disappointment
Review: I usually wouldn't spend time writing a bad review of a movie, but this movie was so disappointing that I felt compelled to warn everyone I know not to see this movie. My husband and I went to see it, as we both LOVED Scary Movie, but we left in utter disgust and disappointment. We had no clue what the point of the movie was. Sure, there were some funny parts, maybe a handful of them, but mostly it was repulsive humor. I know a lot of people will like it, but I think it's an insult to people's intelligence to put garbage like that on the screen and expect people to laugh and enjoy it. I'm no prude - I enjoy Scary Movie and I LOVE the American Pie movies, but Scary Movie 2 is pointless, poorly made, and just plain stupid. The movies they parodied weren't even popular movies, which defeats the purpose of spoofing scary movies. After seeing the movie, we saw the list of movies that were supposedly parodied, and we couldn't even point out where in the movie they were spoofed - for example - Castaway? Anyway, from the first five minutes of the movie - the Excorcist scene - I knew this movie would suck. We feel it was a complete waste of our time to see this movie. I warned coworkers and friends not to see it, yet some saw it anyway, and they returned in agreement that it was a horrible movie and wished they had heeded our warnings. Maybe, at 26, I'm just too old for this. The teenagers in the theatre seemed to enjoy it, so I guess if you are a teen who liked the first one, you may like it because of all of the sexual and gross-out humor. But, if you enjoyed the first one mostly because of the parodies of other movies, you will be completely let down by this movie.

Summary: What's the point?
Review: Oh how much I loved the first one... Scary Movie is one of my all-time favorite comedies! I watch it at least once a week! I was expecting more of the same high caliber stuff - Doofy - Gail Hailstorm - the character relationships - the hilarious story... the great spoofs... the twist ending... NO SUCH LUCK HERE! There was no story... the spoofs were weak and too obscure to understand... and there is only so much potty humor you can use to fill the void created by a non-existent story line. Remeber the close-knit group of friends from the first movie and how you could identify with them and care what happened? Well... there were no character relationships in this one! For example, the incredibly talentless Tori Spelling played a thrown-in, pointless role of 'some chick that gets in on with a ghost'... she has no interaction with the rest of the characters... why was she there? What was the premise of her character? What was the premise of this movie?...

Review: i been reading alot of the reviews out here none of these people seem happy with what they see on the big screen i think they all need help they all seem more sad about there own lives writing bad reviews about movies because all the new films out are very good so the people writing bad things need to just go away & get a life take a happy pill.

Review: yeah so this movie doesn't have a plot. But if you are just looking to have a good time and laugh so much it hurts this movie is for you! I loved it, I don't know what's with all the bad reviews. If you liked the first one, you will like this one too.

Summary: More lame than funny
Review: Scary Movie 2 is weak sequel that only has about 3 or 4 scenes that are actually funny. Meanwhile when I saw the first one in the movies I laughed out loud about 30 times. This one is more like a bad Scooby Doo imitation. Plus towards the end it actually takes itself seriously when they're trying to catch the ghost. However Anna Farris is very lively once again as Cindy and has a funny scene where she trys to act as hip as Marlon Waynes. She can probably have a future as long as she stays away from doing a Scary Movie 3.

Review: I am so mad at myself for taking my friends to see this movie. It was my treat and I ended up wasting $... on this piece of ....I am a big fan of the first Scary Movie, which was really good. The only thing that saved this movie was some of the jokes but that's all you'll get out of this. Wait until it is at a dollar movie theater or on video. You do not want to waste six bucks on this insult to movies

Summary: Best Sequal
Review: Most of the movies that I've seen that have a sequal the 1st great and the second one isn't worth seeing. Well I have found two movies where this didn't aply, "The Mummy" and "Scary Movie". Both of their sequals rocked. Infact I thought the second was better than the first. The old cast is back (except for that red head and her boyfriend. The funniest character is that guy that used to be on saturday night live. He plays the caretaker of the mysterious "Hell House" (thats really its name it says so, on the sign outside the house). You should see this guys hands. I advise this for anyone who likes the so called "dumb-funny" (the comedy in the first one). Not for people like my mom who like the comedy on "Darma and Greg". Sincerely, Movie watcher P.S. Wait till it comes out on video because when I went to the movies and the people behind me wouldn't shut up. At home the only noise you here are family.

Summary: 2 stars for the 2nd movie...only 3 for the first Scary Movie
Review: I thought the first Scary Movie was entertaining...I mean it's not as funny the 2nd, 3rd or 4th time seeing it. But it was worth buying and laughing at. Scary Movie 2, however, I'm not even sure if I'll buy it. The first 20 minutes were funny (and that is pretty much what you see in the trailers) but after that, it did nothing for me at all. I didn't find it funny. Perhaps I was expecting more because of the first Scary Movie and therefore I got my gears going to expect something. That something just wasn't there. I recommend to pass it up.

Summary: Scary movie is back and better than ever.
Review: with the first one out that was so popular that it was rereleased in thearters the sequal was expected to top it. Which it succeeded in doing. With its stars The Wayans brothers, ana Faris, chris masterson, Christine Stirrat, Tori Spelling, And many other new comers The movie was great. All though it is still for a mature audience there is less nudity, Not as grosse, and alot more laphes. YOu can be expecting a ScaryMovie3 in thearters near you soon.
