Summary: A really charming film
Review: It's been a while since I came out from a movie without the desire to go to the box office to ask for a few bugs back. "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" is definately one of the best films I have seen in years. The story is simple and the characters ordinary, yet there is much one can relate to the story and the characters in the movie. It is the movie that gathers the charm of everyday life and the gives much hope to the audiences. This is really a movie worth watching over and over again.

Summary: What a hoot!
Review: Ha!I had the pleasure of watching this movie on this past Sunday night which is Thanksgiving here in Canada... Anyways, my Father, Mother and fiance and I all went to watch the 9pm showing of My Big Fat Greek Wedding... I hadn't heard a thing about it because I don't have cable but my parents had heard that it was great. So taking my chances I tagged along. The first couple of minutes I was wondering if this was going to be any good but was I ever pleasantly surprised. I didn't stop laughing the whole time. Hey I come from a somewhat crazy family of my own so seeing this made my day. Those who didn't enjoy this movie you need to lighten up a little! Nobody is perfect and it is amazing how your family can run things even when it wasn't what you planned. Hey I may not be a Greek but I am half German and well you know! So go watch the movie and try not to tempt yourself to try the Windex cure all! I am still trying to stop myself from trying to use it! Kate

Summary: Must-see comedy!
Review: This movie was hilarious, especially if you have a fairly large family and are Greek, Jewish, Italian, etc. The characters were very real and had depth from the first moment you saw them. It was fun to see Toula blossom intoa beautiful, self-assured woman and find the man of her dreams (not her father's dreams). The story was well done and I look forward to watching it over again!

Review: This movie is sooo funny, Most of us can relate in one way or another how A regular girl turns into a lovely woman. (not a super model, Which I really like) The funniest thing to me and my daughters was the fact that grandma kept running away. This movie is a must see! Then go hug your crazy relatives!! :) I can't wait to own this one!!

Review: This has to be THE funniest movie ever. The plot is based on real life events that everybody can relate to (even if you aren't Greek)and the acting is superb. Non stop laughter from beginning to end and not a bit of boredom or clockwatching in the entire movie. Highly recommend this movie if you want a side-ache from laughter.

Summary: My Big Fat Excuse For A Movie
Review: This movie was the sorriest excuse for homely 30-year-old girl miraculously lands real hot yuppie guy. Initially, I was thrilled to support a film whose leading lady was not your typical Hollywood off-the-rack lollipop head. Unfortunately, this film does NOT deliver. Ten minutes into the film I realized that it did not matter who was the leading lady because the story was nothing more than a miserably predictable plot, string of pathetic clichés and outdated stereotypes. Finally, a "regular" actress, a woman with real body parts and facial hair, whose paid her dues in Hollywood stars in a Tom Hanks film, no less, churns-out rubbish about 'getting a man'. This film portrays a 30-year-old virgin as a complete imbecile. How insulting, I thought to myself, but shortly realized that any single grown woman doing nothing with her life and living with her parents in the United States is an imbecile. This film is nothing more than a wasted opportunity to make a difference for women in film.

Summary: A Wonderful "Feel-Good" Movie!
Review: This romantic comedy is the best "feel-good" movie I've seen in years. Old-world traditions clash with modern views. We can all recognize something familiar in the uproariously funny family scenes. And guess what? No violence, no obscenities, just pure fun. You'll laugh and you'll cry...and you'll want to see this movie again. In fact, I have one friend who has seen it five times! I don't have the video yet but I want it, so that I can laugh out loud again and again.
