Summary: Horrible!!!!!
Review: I went to go see Crossroads the weekend it came out. I was coming in the movie with an open mind because I have heard good and bad things about this move. A bunch of my friends went to see it with me and we were all disappointed. Crossroads was such a boring movie!!! It is really short and doesn't have any plot. You can just watch the first 10 minutes of it and predict the rest of the movie. Most importantly their was no climax. Why waste time and money on a movie that has no twist??? This was one of the wrost movies I have seen in a long time.

Summary: Fof a first, it went well
Review: Well I am not a fan of Britney, but I thought for her first movie it went pretty well...Well I think that if you can act, you can act, whether you have a degree or what have you. Besides, just because Britney decides she wanted to venture into acting does not automatically mean she can't act. Also what do you think she is doing when she puts on a concert --Britney doens't just sing, she performs or acts -- she gives people a show to watch, which is why people love her.

Summary: Only for a HUGE BRITNEY FAN!
Review: Britney Spears stars as Lucy, one of three childhood best friends who take a road trip across the country most teens only dream about. Along the way, they meet a musician who persuades them to compete in a music contest in Los Angeles. Of the story: "The whole movie is about this journey that best friends take, finding ourselves and what we want out of life." Also featured in the cast are Dan (The Curse of the Jade Scorpion) Aykroyd as Lucy's dad, Kim Catrall (TV;s Sex and the City) as her mom, Justin (Jeepers Creepers) Long and Taryn (Crazy/Beautiful) Manning. Tamra (Half Baked) Davis helms the coming-of-age drama. What can I say? Its a great movie!

Summary: Mom's beware!
Review: This is not a movie for your 10-13 year old unless you are ready to talk to her about sex, premaritial, teenage sex, that is, drugs, drinking, rape, teenage pregnancy, running away from home, dressing sexy to get what you want.... It was a huge disappointment. I know Brittany wants to break away from the younger fans but what she is doing instead is misguiding those younger fans terribly while not gaining any respect with the older scene.

Summary: britney an actor??
Review: I mean i'm a britney fan and all but for her to be in a movie i was like no way. it's not i thought she couldn't act it was the fact that it's soo cliche for a sing to get into a movie role and they usually bomb. but surprisingly it was good. I like it the only parts that were hard to not laugh at her in would be when she cries...i guess we r just no used to seeing her in that position and it makes ya laugh.

Summary: Cute and Fun!
Review: You shouldn't really expect alot from this film going into it. Ita kind of cheesy, corny, and a little unrealistic. But if you can get past that its very cute and a lot of fun. One of those movies you can just watch and have a good time with. Britney Spears makes the transition to film much better than previous pop star efforts like Mariah Carey and Lance Bass of Nsync. She is very charming and likeable, and looks great. The other cast members Zoe Saldana and Tamryn Manning are equally as good, and the three of them together look like they are having a blast. As I said the plot is a bit corny, and I found myself laughing at parts that weren't suppose to be funny, but that was the fun of this movie. Some of you will hate it, I'm sure, and the ones who do probably dislike Britney Spears in the first place. Most of you will enjoy it, and have a great time, and probably watch it over and over again.

Summary: Good Effort for First Movie
Review: This movie wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be, but it also wasn't as bad as a lot of people say it is. Britney does a good job acting. She is an actress. Trust me, I have seen bad actors and Brit is not one of them. The movie was slow at times and I wish it would have explored Lucy's relationship/meeting with her mother more (Britney plays Lucy). There were a lot of opportunities for Brit to be in her underwear (more than necessary) and for her to sing. However, I did want to hear her sing. I think the writer and director have to be held accountable for the problems in this film. I did not like the in your face product placement. Lucy and her friends are from Georgia where Coca Cola rules, yet they are drinking Pepsi products and Lucy washes her hair with Herbal Essences--one of Brit's sponsors. All in all, I think it was a good movie and shows that Britney has a future on the big screen.

Summary: Not so great
Review: I just want to say I am a britney fan and saw her movie and didn't like it.
Britney did an OK job but i just don't see why all her fans think she was so
great. do any of you remember about a year ago when MTV did some show that had
this little girl on it singing and dancing a britney song a lot of people
thought MTV did that to show people that any one could be a singer like
britney? well i think britney is doing the same thing as an actress she is just
trying to prove any one with a brain can be an actress. Most of the actresses
on TV and in movies have Bachelors or masters degrees and some of the younger
actresses even went to special schools for the theater like juliard the
school for the arts. What made Britney think she could compete with that? those
people who have the degrees and who go to the acting schools they put in a lot
of hard work to be an actress britney thinks she can learn to be an actress in
a few short weeks. there are many struggling actors/actressess who studied acting religiously at some of the best Drama and theater schools waiting anxiously for that deservedly lucky break but don't get it because some head honcho at a movie company wants to give a (no experience in acting) Pop Star the lead role in a movie that will only be watched because of her name.Britney cannot act and its not just my opinion but a known fact when 99% of the reviews across the planet
agree. It's not even debatable. Realistically the only ones that will think
she can act will be the same audience that like Barney or Sesame Street.
That's all.

Summary: Give her a break!
Review: Alright, I, first off, did not want to see this movie because Britney Spears was in it. When I finally did go to see it, it was only because I thought the story line looked relativly interesting and I could handle Spears for 70 minutes. The movie was actually rather good. I liked the plot better than I thought I would and Britney was actually quite a good actress in her debut. The only part I thought was uncalled for and very obvious was that Britney Spears spent half of the movie or more half dressed. That was ridiculous. But other than that, it was a good movie and the PG-13 rating is a little high.
