Summary: There is little more to say than "see this movie!"
Review: I didn't even want to see it, until my friend told me that he didn't think it looked good either, but he ended up seeing it and loved it. I was reluctant, but it was the only thing playing, so I went. This must have been the funniest movie of the summer! It's strange because it seems like a dumb movie, and some people would argue that it is, but in my eyes, it achieves comical brilliance. The ensemble cast was surprisingly proficient. I can't complain about the writing or the characters. And it was just so damn funny! I'm not going to give away the jokes, or talk about the obvious, simple plot, I'll just tell you that I wouldn't miss Rat Race.

Summary: What a run!
Review: This is one fun ride! The movie follows a group of people as they scurry around the country trying to get to a mailbox containing 2 million dollars. The characters are fantastic, especially Rowan Atkinson (always enjoyable) as a gleefully funny character much like "Mr. Bean." All of the actors do a wonderful job, and you'll roll into your floor laughing at some of the prediciments the folks get themselves into (especially Jon Lovitz on stage at the WWII meet... you'll understand when you see it!). A must see and must own. Just delightful.

Summary: Funniest movie of 2000
Review: In a time where all producers, writers, etc., of comedies seem to do is inject a few crude sex jokes into a lackluster script, Rat Race was a pleasant surprise. The script was great, the jokes were for the most part clean and the overall feeling I got from the movie when I left the theatre was refreshing. Great movie. Definitely highly recommended.

Review: I never do reviews, but after seeing this wonderfully funny and entertaining movie I could not resist. I can't wait for the movie to come out on video because it's soooooo good and funny that I went to see it twice in the theaters and haven't got enough. It's a MUST see for everyone no matter the age, its a guarantee that you'll laugh your sorrows off. SEE IT, YOU"LL LOVE IT...

Summary: Brilliantly orchestrated laughter!
Review: The cast is at it's tip top finest in this Zucker masterpiece. The true standout is Mr.Breckin Meyer who is hilarious yet understated in his uptight lawyer role. The cast is magnificent, and so is the movie.

Summary: Hilarious until almost the finish line
Review: Great slapstick, zesty pacing and laugh-out-loud dark humor make this a must-see despite a betrayal just as the moive aproaches the finish line.
Dark, earthy humor consistently elicits laughs until tears roll down your cheeks but the movie throws it all away in the last reel, turning from its merciless look at unbridled greed into a sappy ending which is entirely inconsistent with the dark humor and which may cause more retching than the most sacharine Osmond family Christmas special.
This betrayal of an ending comes, however, after the movie will have won you over.

Summary: This movie does not suck.
Review: An obvious remake of It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, this movie improves on many of the flaws in the classic original. For one, it's shorter than three hours, and no matter how much of a classic Mad World is, it drags in places. Rat Race never drags, and the degree of absurdity escalates exponentially as the film progresses. I've never seen a theatre full of people laugh so hard before, and there are scenes so over the top I was in tears.

The only real problem with the film is it's incredibly upbeat and liberal ending, which I found pretty jarring. Aside from that, this is an excellent piece of work

Review: I watched this movie TWICE in the movie theatres, which is rare for me, because I never watch a movie more than once at the theatres! But read the other reviews, because they are all right when they said this movie is the funniest! Whoopi was great in this movie, even Atkinson, Seth Green, and Wayne Knight. Dean Cain makes a funny cameo as the cheating boyfriend.

So I'm not kidding, this movie is hilarious! So pre-order your copy today!

Review: I've only seen this movie about six times, but it's the best movie I have ever seen in my life. As long as comedy is your thing, I highly recommend this. The DVD is not released for two more months, but I have definitely pre-ordered this one! I am certain this DVD will contain deleted scenes. The Rat Race website contains certain things that weren't in the movie as I saw it in the theatre, so I am sure they will resurface on the DVD. (Like Owen Templeton is supposed to have used a mobile home as one of his race vehicles, which was not shown in the movie any of the times I saw it.) Anyway I give this movie about nine hundred thumbs up and siz gazillion stars and a bunch of other really good stuff hehehe. Buy it!!
