Review: This movie is a nice movie. It not really the best movie or the worse movie. It mainly about a threesome of friends. One is about to get hitched and they remishing on the good old days. When they were young and restless. Talks about schooldances, frist crush, and frist time getting laid.

Review: This movie is not just a "Chick Flick". It is for everyone. It may feature black men coming of age in the hood but you will see that despite the race, location and gender it is a buddy movie. I could easily put me and my friends in place of the main characters in many of the scenes. Plus, THE MUSIC. My goodness it made the movie even better. Definitly a must see.

Summary: Take me back to when I was in junior high
Review: This movie took me back to the best and the worst of junior high and high school. Listening to old school rap music and R&B, collecting Right On and Word UP magazines, and hanging out at the mall. The worst part of junior high and high school was depression and not feeling that you fit in with anyone. But "The Wood" was a good movie to watch. Three men reminiscing on the old times and helping their best friend cope with wedding jitters. Personally I can relate with the character that was a new student at the school. He felt awkward and out of place but with the help of his buddies adjusted well. Another male friendship movie recommended.

Summary: Never heard of this place but the movie was good!
Review: This movie turned out to be a lot better than I thought it would be. When I first saw the commercials I thought it would be just another flick with the same old stuff.....but I was wrong. There was comedy(plenty), Drama, and even some deep moments. Watching this reminded me of when I was in highschool beacsue of all the things they went through like school fights, checking out the girls, and standing in front the class to say something. It plays through all this before it gets to the real story of the movie.......kinda like past to present ..then future like the movie "Scroge". Overall I think that anybody will enjoy this and if you don't buy this at least check it out. You might be suprised.

Summary: The First "Big Chill" Flick for the 80s Kids
Review: This movie was about nostalgia -- remembering what it was like to be young and black in the 80s. My favorite cousins lived in Inglewood when we were kids so I vividly remember listening to that music and doing all the growing up stuff in Inglewood. (The Randy's donut is an Inglewood landmark -- that brought a smile to my face). My feelings about this movie are mixed: It doesn't disappoint in evoking strong nostalgic feelings, however the overall plot was weak and the flashbacks made the movie seem disjointed. It was worth watching once, but I wouldn't watch it again.

Review: This movie was absolutley a winner. It kept me laughing as well as wondering what would happen next. It was extremly funny and realistic. Ths movie was well planned. All of the actors did a very good job in this one of a kind movie. You'll have to see this one!!! I give it TWO thumbs up!!!

Summary: An Absolute Joy
Review: This movie was an absolute joy; one of the best black films I have seen in a long time. It definitely took me back to the days when all those great R&B songs were out and to my first crush and first boyfriend, etc. This movie just put together a whole bunch of good looking black people into a story that's not about violence or any kind of negativity, just pure fun; it's what life is all about for those of us who appreciate but can't fully relate to life in the hood. It was so much fun. I loved every minute of it. The story was great; the acting was convincing, the plot was realistic and it's a movie I will always think about with a huge grin on my face. Two thumbs way up in my book!

Review: This movie was good ,and funny. This movie was adout three boys growing up in engulwood california and they go though all the games we use to play the dodging gangbangers to school danceses and first time having sex and girls play hard to get. This movie is worth getting.
