Review: This movie is not so much a comedy as it is a statement to women that they can be independent and should stand up for themselves. The humor is more of a sidebar to keep the plot moving along than it is humor for comedy's sake. The symbolism is excellent, the acting is good, and the message is moving. Every time I need a boost to my self-confidence, I watch this movie.

Review: Viewers have been very sceptical about Drop Dead Fred, usually because they never finished watching the film. The simple psychological interpretation that the ending of the film offers is magnificent! This has been one of my family's favorites now since it came out. It is zany, but it is very much the child we all once were, revisited and also come alive again!
