Review: This was a great movie! Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon are superb as Earl and Val along with a zany cast of townspeople including Michal Gross as survivalist Burt Gummer and Reba McEntire as his wife Heather. Great special effects, the worms are terrifying!Awesome Movie!

Summary: Great balance!
Review: Just enough horror, smarts, comedy, acting, suspense, and believablity to make this one a classic. I also enjoyed the "Making of Tremors" which is included as an extra. Not to be missed!

Summary: A fun movie with a great cast and tight screenplay.
Review: Tremors tells the classic story of a small community fighting for survival against underground monsters. It's classic horror-movie stuff with a twist: unlike most Hollywood horror flicks, the characters look and talk like real people, and as the story progresses, you actually root for them to win. The last horror flick I saw where I didn't cheer for the monsters was the original 'Night of the Living Dead' (1969). The cast makes the people of Perfection real to us, and the dialogue is as sharp and funny as the best Mel Brooks movie. The action is fast-paced, but the tone is always positive. This film is great fun; I never get tired of watching it. Be sure to check out the "Making of..." feature and the original ending; excellent documentaries from the film-makers. You'll enjoy this disk for years to come.

Summary: A wonderfully funny monster movie spoof!
Review: Don't walk or run to buy this DVD...burrow like a giant underground worm!! Nonstop laughs and thrills await you in "Tremors." Universal has done a great job with its Collector's Edition series (of which I have two; the other is "The Thing.") Plenty of bonus materials make its slightly higher price well worth it. This DVD has a very informative retrospective containing interviews with the director and the producers, among others. Great picture and sound quality. Best viewed with a Sony Trinitron TV and an S-video cable connection, and plenty of buttered popcorn!

When people start to show up dead,Val & Earl have no idea what is causing the massacre. Then they witness the giant underground worms that have invaded their town. Their time is limited as the creatures begin to grow more intelligent . Val and Earl must find a way to destroy the "Graboids." Levi

Summary: A perfect combination of action, wit and comedy
Review: If you are looking for serious horror or terror, you better pass over Tremors; but if you are looking for a delightfully witty action film with just the right balance of tension and comedy you will love Tremors. Val (Kevin Bacon) and Earl (Fred Ward) are two handymen doing odd jobs in a tiny western town named "Perfection". When strange deaths start occurring, they become involved in the investigation. Soon they end up in the battle of their lives. The chemistry between Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward is wonderful; you never lose interest when they are talking. And the clever lines work perfectly with the tension and action ("Here it is Monday and I'm already planning for Wednesday. It is Monday isn't it?"). I've probably watched this movie a dozen times, and I enjoy it every time. The DVD version is well done. END
