Summary: I am a Jim Carrey fan
Review: But this movie just didn't cut it for me. Believe it or not, Dumb and Dumber was way funnier or even Liar, Liar. Renee Zellweger played Irene with an obvious lack of luster and spark. Carrey disappointed me here ~~ I am a fan of his elastic face and body, but here, it just wasn't funny. The humor ~~ pathetic.

If you're a permanent 12-year-old boy, you would enjoy this movie. If you like lots of swear words, this is it for you. It just didn't appeal to me

Summary: I'm still Laughing
Review: I too can't believe the one star reviews but there are all types. You have to expect this if you're seeing a Jim Carry movie so it's your own fault if you were offended. I thought this was one of the Funniest movies I've seen in a long time. I know a movie is funny when my wife laughs out loud and she did alot of that. I rented it first and then bought it because it's one of those movies you can watch over and over. Not a movie for pre-teens but Highly recommended.

Summary: Could Not Be Done Without Jim
Review: A great movie that had me laughing from start to finish. It was hilarious and it's a movie that could not of been done without Jim Carrey. Watch it for sure, rude humour not recomended for kids.

Summary: What are these one-star reviewers watching... the PG-13 one?
Review: Man, this has gotta be hands down the best Jim Carrey movie I've seen in a while, and I own BOTH Ace Ventura movies! He kinda caught me off guard with a lot of the gags that he pulls in the movie, and WHAT gags they were.... probably some of the raunchiest stuff he's ever done... but the main thing is, they were funny! Kinda sad to see Hank go, but he hit like a wuss anyway... as for extras, it's good enough. With plenty of it, as long as you own a PC.

Summary: Adv. delusional schizophrenia w/ involuntary narcissistic...
Review: ...Rage. With this movie, I was expecting another Dumb and Dumber, given Jim Carrey's track record with the Farrelly Brothers. However, this movie was a surprise. No one could pull off the scene where Charlie becomes Hank. Carrey's facial expressions make this movie what it is.

Carrey is Charlie, your average everyday nice guy. He's an 18 year vet of "The greatest police force in the world" - the Rhode Island State troopers. Everything's going fine for him until his wife, the Mensa chapter president, has an affair with the height-challenged limo driver (also a Mensa chapter Pres). She gives birth to three black triplets. The sons later turn out to be as foul-mouthed as they are intelligent. He knows his wife may be having an affair, but part of him doesn't want to believe it. Then one day, after a series of events that test his patience - his newspaper gets stolen, a little 5 year old girl gives him hell, the barbers are poking fun at his ex, and a woman cuts in front of the line at the grocery store with 6 full shopping carts; he snaps, and out comes Hank, his rude, crude alter ego. Then, Charlie/Hank is asked to escort Irene, a woman wanted as an accessory to tax evasion and bribery, which she knows nothing about from Rhode Island to upstate New York. Along the way, Charlie's wanted for murder as well as the mishaps he had as Hank, and he and Irene get into serious trouble. The biggest problem for both is when Charlie and Hank start to fall for Irene. What's the problem? She loves Charlie, hates Hank.

This movie's hilarious. The funniest scene has to be when Carrey shoots the supposedly dead cow with six bullets. That beats the rabid dog that attacked Ben Stiller in There's Something About Mary any day. As well as the standoff between Hank and Charlie. Also, there's some great lines where Charlie's talking to his sons. I cant wait to see what the Farrelly Brothers, those wackos come up with next. I just hope that they use Carrey again.

Summary: Jim Carrey does it again.
Review: Jim Carrey has done it again. The movie was hilarious. Very vulgar humor. Definetly following in the footsteps of "There's Something About Mary." Undoubtably the best performance I have ever seen Jim Carrey in. He only gets better with age. An absolute "Must See" for any Jim Carrey fan, but not for the easily offended.

The only problem I would mention on this DVD, (and this is a problem on many of them) is that the deleted scenes are not integrated into the movie. While I have only seen a very small handful of DVD's that do this, it still would be nice to see the deleted scenes in the proper context. (or, at least be given the option to)

Summary: Hilarious
Review: I hope you have a sense of humor, for if you don't, you'll be missing out. This is one of the most hilarious movies I have ever seen, and I've seen alot. The movie is even better the second time, after you pick up on the stuff you missed from laughing uncontrolablly the first time. A must see for any Carrey and Farrely brothers fan, and anyone else who doesn't mind laughing their brains out for two hours.

Summary: Very, very funny!!
Review: "Me, Myself and Irene" is the story about a man who is the victim of a split personality. His gentle side, Charlie, is a nervous man who allows himself to be walked over by his friends. His other side, Hank, is a crude, nasty, menace to society. From dunking a little girl's head in water to deficating on a man's lawn, to calling people "giant, walking Q-tips," Hank is a rude but smart man who usually gets himself out of trouble. This is not a movie for young children, having strong sexual innuendo throught the movie, and Charlie's foultalking trio of black children but for midteens to adults, this is good comedy!! Tuck the kids into bed, relax with a bowl of warm popcorn, sit back, relax, and watch Jim Carrey at his best!....... "Well look who decided to join the party!! Did YOU have fun?!?!"

Summary: The Worst Movie I've Ever Seen
Review: This movie was so bad that after 15 minutes my husband (a huge Jim Carrey fan) wanted to leave the theatre. Don't waste time or energy on this movie. The gags were not funny and the story line stunk. I'd give this negative stars if I could - it was a waste of money.

Summary: Very Funny, but not for Kids!
Review: I really enjoyed watching this movie, and I couldn't stop laughing from beginning to end. I'm not really a big fan of gross comedy, hell I got offend when I saw American Pie. This movie true is alittle immature, and that was makes this movie fun to watch. This movie really Rocks, just don't take your kids out to watch this, like some reviewers did. leave me to ask this question, Why would you take your kids out to see this movie knowing it's rated R? To sum it all up: Buy this DVD if: You are a big fan of Jim Carrey and/or Fan of gross comedy and/or you aren't easily offend and want some good laughs. If you are a parent wanted to watch a movie with the entire family, let me tell you this, buy Toy Story the box set it's funny, and great for the whole family! This would be a good movie if you planning on watching alone with the wife/husband.
