Summary: A must see movie
Review: How could you lose with this movie, a comedy staring Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the geniouses behind South Park and it's directed by David Zucker, who also worked on Airplane!. A great movie about a couple of no names that invent a sport and over night they become the biggest sports heros in the world, not without a couple complications of course. A must see.

Summary: A real Classic Comedy
Review: I rarely buy videos. After seeing the movie I bought this one. The characters act like normal, real guys not some pretty boy prima donna actors. Refreshingly politically wrong. You'll belly laugh right out loud. I have to echo another reviewer here. If you have a sense of humor, get this. Otherwise, get a Kevin Costner film.

Summary: The Worst DVD, period
Review: The movie was funny at times. The DVD is horrible. There is nothing "extra" about it. The VHS version has more "extras" than the DVD.

Huh?

Avoid this like the plague.

Summary: Greatest piece of class
Review: This is my favourite movie of all times!

The background thoughts behind the story that censorlessly attack the commercialism of sports and all the intrigues that come with it are brilliantly connected into an almost vulgarly comical film.

The movie becomes great, not only due to the main cast and direction, but also with the enhancement of Reel Big Fish and DVDA, here the Radio song stands out.

Every psych out is well thought out and hysterical and the game of baseketball would in my opinion have a real chance of becoming a popular game...

Loving it

Summary: Movie history in the making!
Review: Move over Star Wars and make room for this fabulous and wicked movie, the two outragouse creaters of South Park have done it again and pulled out another comedy great. Only that one was actually funny and successful, and the other is a guarenteed qualifier for the WORST movie ever made in the history and the face of this rock we live on. Watch this movie and you're automatically part of somthing special, the other end of the spectrum of what the movie industry has to offer.

Summary: I couldn't stop laughing!!!
Review: I am a big fan of Trey Parker and Matt Stone. I have always loved the show "South Park", and when I heard that the creators of that show were making a movie, I was thrilled. This movie was so funny! Parker and Stone are comic geniuses and they should definately make more movies like this. I reccomend it to any fan of South Park or just someone who like a good laugh. Go rent it!

Summary: Imagine 'Police Academy' as a sports movie. Actually, don't.
Review: 'BASEketball mocks the platitudes of the lachrymose, 'inspirational' TV-movie-style sports film - suburban losers become champions; defeat the evils of big business; help sick children; get the girl(s) - with lengthy, relentless and unfunny attempts at 'low' humour, usually centring on the comedy of the body (fluids, size, vulnerability, decay etc.). The 'joke', of course, is that sport, which (ideally, anyway) depends on a ruthless perfection of physical control, has been reconfigured for aging, indolent geeks who eat, drink and onanise too much, skimping on any exercise. The problem is that there aren't any jokes. Bad feel-good movies, sports corruption and the corporate devouring of 'alternative' activities are the easiest of straw targets, but even these are missed by the scriptwriters and performers, who must therefore be even more inept than their doltish heroes. The 'stoopid' humour is neither crass nor peurile nor actually FUNNY enough, the kind of lame cracks you might offer dazed friends after the drinks have run out. As a commentary on Parker and Stone's own commerical selling-out (mentioned here, as if THAT will excuse it), from purveyors of 'South Park''s savage scatology to...this, the film rings only too true.

Summary: Is it wrong of me???
Review: Is it wrong of me, a member of Mensa, to find this movie side-splittingly funny?
Is it wrong of me, as a person who appreciates the humor of Aristophanes, to think that Baseketball is just as worthwhile (though probably won't be as long-lived)?
Is it wrong of me to think that this movie's commentary about the sad state of professional sports is right on the money?
If it is, I'm damn glad to be guilty!!
