Summary: This is one of the best movies I have ever seen
Review: I love this movie, I've seen it twice already!!! I have to admit, the first reason I went to see it was because of Gillian Anderson, who is my favorite actress, and I love watching her in anything, especially 'The X-Files'!! The rest of the cast, Jon Stewart, Sean Connery, and everyone else were amazing. I can't until it is released on VHS, so I can get it!!!

Review: a wonderfully refreshing romantic comedy that holds your attention through meaningful and intelligent character dialogue as opposed to an endless series of bedroom scenes. the casting is perfect; the fast-paced, witty banter between couples captivating. a film that takes you through the full spectrum of emotions but ultimately leaves you feeling good about life in the end. i'd love to watch more films written in this manner.

Review: I am a great fan of Gillian Anderson and she was the main reason why I wanted this movie. And I was not disappointed. The opposite actually. Great cast!Jon Stewart, Gena Rowlands, Sean Connery and Angelina Jolie was superb and Gillian, well I am loss for words. I loved the way the storyline was told and how everything was puzzled together in the end. If you want an experience that goes beyond all the high technology movies that are such big hits this summer, this movie gives you all you need! And the fact that Gillian Anderson is in it makes it even better. Can't wait to see more from her!

Review: This sweet, polished gem of a film follows the lives and volatile romances of four couples, as they find, develop and rekindle love in modern Los Angeles. The performances are wonderful, especially those of Sean Connery, Angelina Jolie, Jay Mohr, and Dennis Quaid. An excellent cast, a wonderful story (with a surprising ending!), and Willard Carroll's screenplay make Playing by Heart a film that must not be missed.

Review: A wonderfully written and directed movie about family, friends and relationships. The script itself is brilliant in how it subtly ties together all the different threads without insulting the viewer's intelligence. Everything just seems to finally fall into place. The cast is also extremely strong. I especially enjoyed the performance by Gillian Anderson, but you've got to love Gena Rowlands, Sean Connery and the rest of these talented actors as well. I highly recommend this movie to anyone.

Review: this is the only good movie with a great cast the best couple are keenan and joan played by phillippe and jolie.jon stewart was funny and terrific . you will cry at the end. after watchin white squall,i know...,cruel intentions.and know playing by heart ryan phillippe is the best actor going right now damnit.

Review: This movie kind of reminded me of some of Neil Simon's stuff...only not as contrived. It made me cry, which Titanic didn't. Excellent performances all around. Jon Stewart is my new favorite man! Shaun Connery and Gina Rowlands were wonderful also. The young couple(sorry can't remember the actors names)was so sweet and funny..sigh. The ending made me want to watch the thing all over again, which I did. A wonderful story. If you liked "As Good as it Gets", you will like this.

Review: It's a great, funny movie that guys and girls alike will love. With a mind-blowing cast, (I personally thought Gillian Anderson and Angelina Jolie did the best) it leaves you wondering how the lives of these people will come together! The ending is spectacular, and doesn't leave you sobbing like most Romantic movies out recently. I highly recommend this!
