Summary: One Fine Day - A Valentine Day Pick
Review: One Fine Day soundtrack is a collection of modern and oddie romantic tunes. I have to say this CD would be perfect for the loved one on Valentines' Day. All the songs in the CD will pulsate your heart and bring a warm feeling to your flesh. My best favorites are the four tracks:

Track 03-For The First Time (Kenny loggins) will definitely be one of the pieces featured in my wedding! "For the first time, when I'm looking in your eyes....I can't believe how much I see...but you're looking back at me....I understand what love is, for the first time." The most romantic moment would be when your special someone sings this song to you. Beautiful tune.

Track 07-Have I Told You Lately (Van Morrison) is another favorite in this soundtrack. Van Morrison has put a softer touch to this romantic tune. I must say that I'm somewhat biased because Van Marrison has been one of my favorite artists.

Track 09-What A Difference A Day Made (Tony Benett) this is another oddie favorite. It's a pleasant surprise to have found this piece included in a modern love story.

Track 14-Suite from One Fine Day. This is the only music score/instrumental in the entire soundtrack. It corresponds to the end credit of the movie. Sort of like a reprise of all the tunes played in the movie. Still heart-touching and captivating.
I appreciate all the songs in the soundtrack. It could be one of the sappiest soundtrack ever released!

Summary: Well Done.
Review: Simple story, same old ending... but

Cloony and Pfeifer matches good, Scenes are brief and proper.

Frankly, I liked songs better than the movie.

Summary: The BEST "feel-good" movie...
Review: This is a GREAT "girl" movie. It has everything you need for a great relaxing movie. I really like George Clooney in this movie and I'm NOT a George Clooney fan. Michelle Pfeifer is her usual poised self. I find myself wanting to be just like her. Her character is a lot like the one she played in Tequila Sunrise (another one of my favorite movies). I highly recommend this movie, it's a bit predictable but sometimes that's a good thing. Sit back, grab your nail polish and prepare to be entertained!

Summary: Great!
Review: It is great, one of the best soundtracks I ever listened too. The movie is great too, George Clooney as the male lead in a romantic comedy, can't get any better than that!

Summary: Pleasant romantic collection
Review: I loved the movie, and the reviews here made my mind up about buying
the OST - however, to be honest, i like it without quite loving it.
There's great variety on offer, which a great thing, but there are
only a few songs which i really like a lot, while the others are
'okey-dokey', the kind that can keep playing in the background while
i work, rather than the kind that i just have to sing along with.

There are fourteen tracks, including the 'Suite from One Fine Day' -
by the redoubtable James Newton Howard, which is a very nice piece
of instrumental music. The outstanding songs in my opinion are
'Have i told you lately' by Van Morrison, 'One fine day' by Natalie
Merchant, 'For the first time' by Kenny Loggins and 'Someone like
you' by Shawn Colvin.

The other songs, while all pleasant, didn't really leave a lasting
impression on me, which is why i'd rate this album as four stars
rather than five .........

However, it is definitely a very good soundtrack and if you enjoy
slow romantic numbers, this may be just the right thing for you.

Summary: Americana Romantic Comedy
Review: "One Fine Day" is a very light comedy with romantic overtones and as such it is indeed excellent - it is short enough, relaxing enough and funny enough to provide much needed entertainment. At the same time humor displayed in the film is not of the "thrown-in-your-face" variety, as is so common in American comedies. Most of the time, you will stay slightly smiling throughout, and that does feel good.

The character portrayed by Michelle Pfeiffer is a typical modern woman, who obviously has the good side of her, but takes care to hide it deep enough for no one to discover. Independent to the point of absurd, a "control-freak", as her movie partner calls her, attractive, thirtyish, working all the time, and divorced, super-peeved about men - yes, she is indeed an adequate portrait of a modern American woman. Clooney on the other hand is a nonchalant, also divorced man who is not as modern as one might expect. In this highly improbably light comedy, these two different people find the way to each other's hearts. The hostile kevlar suit each of them wears falls off, or rather - dissolves, and of course... they lived happily ever after. "Almost", as Bob Reiner might add.

Summary: One Fine Movie
Review: Career moms will empathize with Michelle, taking care of her kid and having to deal with a boss who is unsympathetic toward kids. It strikes a chord--so many balls to keep up in the air, they're bound to come down sometime. Add two impossible situations, where you have to do two things and they are diametrically opposite to each other--but you HAVE to do them both and you can't possibly put off either one. Throw in two totally different personalities--but both wanting the best for their children. Add a sprinkle of romance, a dash of humor, and some extremely scary moments--would you want to lose someone else's child in New York City?--and you come up with an incredibly flavorful broth.

Summary: A BIT BORING............
Review: WHEN THIS FILM FINISHED,I WAS LEFT WONDERING WHAT HAD ACTUALLY HAPPENED,I CAME TO THE CONCLUSION - NOT MUCH.THAT SAID IT IS ENJOYABLE TO WATCH IF YOU HAVE A COUPLE OF HOURS TO SPARE.
THE SETTING IS NEW YORK, MICHELLE PFEIFFER AND GEORGE CLOONEY WHO ARE BOTH PARENTS,GET STUCK WITH THIER KIDS FOR THE DAY.SINCE THEY HAVE TO WORK,THEY BOTH DEPEND ON EACH OTHER TO TAKE IT IN TURN TO LOOK AFTER EACH OTHERS CHILDREN.NICE FILM,FAMILY FILM,AND A DISSAPOINTING ENDING.
