Summary: Thought it was Great
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed the movie from beginning to end. There are some holes, but it is a movie afterall. It was nice to see a good, entertaining movie that the whole family could enjoy without bad language and violence. I always enjoy watching Colin Firth, but especially enjoyed watching him in this part.

Summary: She wants to see this movie
Review: If you skipped this movie because you thought it was just a rip off of the Princess Diaries, give it another chance. This is a great movie and I think Amanda Bynes is perfect for the lead role. She's, cute funny and believable. The movie is funny, at times, sad at others and has a great ending. Maybe the ending is a little too perfect, but that's what you pay for.

Summary: Colin Firth. Need I say more?
Review: What this girl wanted was to see Colin Firth in a film again. However what I got was over a hundred minutes of pure fun. Highly enjoyable fun, at that. As a 'girl' who never knew her father, I can certainly relate to this story line. When I told a friend of mine that I'd seen this film, and had enjoyed it, she said, "That's a kiddie film." She was mistaken. This film will appeal to anyone who simply wants to be entertained. And watch Colin. Let's not forget Colin. It was great to see him let loose. Loved those black leather pants, too, Colin. :o)

Summary: Cliched and silly
Review: Sometimes I enjoy silly films if they are heartwarming enough, but that wasn't the case with this one. It is packed with cliches, Amanda Bynes is boringly portrayed as this free-spirited American teen with an innocent disregard for English pomposity and the airs and graces of her relatives. After being pestered by the stereotypical, arrogant public-school boy with his condescending attitude to the other 'lower clahss imbuhcile', she falls for the nice boy who's really american at heart, free and classless. When this lad she falls for starts talking about "I was a part of this system and I just came to realise how shallow it is" (or whatever) I felt like laughing. There are many more stupid aspects but I can't be bothered mentioning them.

I enjoyed watching Amanda Bynes, she's really beautiful with her cute teenage demeanor... otherwise, there is not much worth seeing.

Summary: the greatest movie ever!!!!
Review: This movie is about a young girl (Amanda Bynes) who wants to find her dad who lives in England. I thought that this movie was exilerating. It was the best movie Amanda Bynes have starred in. This movie has comedy and romance. Since I'm more the comedy type and not the romantic type I tell you that this movie is both and great for everybody. You'll love it! You'll laugh and cry throughout the movie....guarentee it!

Summary: Colin Firth is the reason to see/own this movie......
Review: I'm a 37 year old woman who is buying this movie just because Colin Firth is in it. He is absolutely the most gorgeous man around. I saw this is the theatre & couldn't take my eyes off Colin's facial hair stubble....drool, drool, drool. Most of the movie he wears a suit and oh how he wears a suit!

Summary: FOR PEOPLE WHO ENJOY "AMERICAN PIE" & THE TATOO ON THEIR BUM
Review: This cotton candy chick-flick falls squarely into the "creampuff teen movie" stereotype. If you are over 13 years of age and carry XY chromosomes, following are some hints to bear this movie:

(1) Get loads of popcorn, and coke. May be a dozen chocolate bars too. You'll have ample time.

(2) Don't expect anything UNpredictable. Every conceivable teen cliche is thrown in -- eye-hurting floral gowns, those pesky female shrieks, all-muscle-no-brain deluge of boys, tiaras, father's undying love, a hep mom, tattoos, tongue piercings, staid rock, and attention grabbing antics. Not even the soundtrack escapes cliche for that matter, expect a priceless gem from The Donnas.

(3) Prepare NOT to be the least bit peeved at Gordon's doozy portrayal of the British, who are all made to look like sniveling morons without any trace of heart. (How niche can your audience get?)

SAVING GRACE:
Colin Firth (but then you knew that).

FINAL RECOMMENDATION:
If you really must watch it against your will, cast your twit filter far away.
