Rating: 5 stars
Summary: DADDY DAY CARE
Review: A FILM FOR ANYONE WITH CHILDREN, ESPECIALLY THOSE RUNNING OR THINKING OF RUNNING A DAY CARE. EVEN MY SONS ENJOYED THIS MOVIE. THE LAUGHS WERE FUNNY AND CLEAN.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: What a charming movie for the whole family.
Review: Eddie Murphy and Jeff Garlin plays best friends and they got fierd. For 6 Weeks Murphy can't find a new job. Galin had an idea about doing a day care center. Anjelica Houston plays Ms. Harrigon who wants kids to be like adults even though they are 5 year olds. Steve Zhan is a charecter who loves a TV show called"Star Trek" These kids now love them so much there is nobody like them.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Eddie hits a new low.
Review: To be honest I still had some respect left for Eddie Murphy before this. He just seemed to have lost his way in the 21st century. But nothing will ever make forgive this. He's just went all 'kiddie' in recent years. And it's sick.

In the 80's Murphy gave us strong African-American characters like Reggie Hammond, Billy Ray Valentine, Axel Foley and Prince Akeem. But that was a long time ago. And it's a shame to see him trade a hard edge for movies like this.

It's so sugary it is literally sickening. It's about as subtle as a brick in the face too. Annoying kids who are obviously reading phonetically off oversized cue-cards held off camera, David Newman's worse than generic 'family movie' score, clockwork predictability and toilet humor (how many more family movies are going to milk fart sounds for all their worth?) are all you can expect from this film.

Staring directly into the sun is not as painful on the eyes as this.

Summary: A Decent Movie...
Review: This was an ok movie. When you see previews for it on your TV or at other movies, you think it will be absolutely hilarious. WRONG.

It was not that funny; the only funny parts were the parts you saw in the commercials. I laughed a couple of times, but don't expect too much from it... The plot was ok (Dad wants to get to know son, etc.), but not that great.

If you're wanting to see it, wait a while to see it at the dollar theater or rent it when it is available, don't waste your money...

So in short, I give this movie a decent rating of 3 stars.

Summary: Daddy Day Care: Daddy'll Fall Asleep
Review: Daddy Day Care seems like the perfect kids comedy. Don't get me worng, it is. But the daddies might snooze off during it. When a father gets fired from his job, he starts a day care center for kids. Eddie Murphy doesn't look happy doing this little kiddy-joke comedy, but his acting is still grade-A. All the good jokes are given away on the commercial. The movie still ain't bad, for a kid flick. Each child in the movie you get to know better and better and every character as his/her own funny joke. The movie keeps kids awake, but age 20 and up might find it boring. Daddy Day Care is 90 minutes, just enough to cram all the jokes and punchlines into. The ending is happy, the characters are happy and the movie itself seems happy. Bottom Line: There's better movies out there, but if the latest box-office hit is sold out, Daddy Day Care is the way to go.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: not one of Eddie Murphy's better kid flicks
Review: Daddy Day Care was o.k., but not as good as Murphy's other kid flicks, like Dr. Doolittle.
My husband and I took our 8 year old daugher to Daddy Day Care and she seemed to like it, but about 15 minutes into the film, my husband left the theater and went across the hall to watch Bruce Almighty.
I thought the movie was cute in some parts but not something I would buy when it comes out on video.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Daddy Day Care for Kids and Adults.
Review: We loved this one. My husband and I brought our 3 girls - 6, 5 & 4 years - and it held there interest the entire movie. Lots of silly stuff for the kids as well as adult humor/sarcasm for us too! Light hearted moral for the kids in the end.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: 4-1/2 stars -- A great family comedy
Review: I wanted to see this movie as soon as I saw the trailer. And I'm sure glad I did, because the movie is great (and yes, if you were wondering, the bathroom incident IS the funniest scene). Charlie (Eddie Murphy) and Phil (Jeff Garlin) work at a food product corporation until their department gets the boot. So to pass the time, they open a day care center in Charlie's house, which inadvertently starts some competition against Mrs. Harridan (Angelica Huston)'s "prestigious" pre-kindergarten school.

As I said before, the movie is overall good, and the outtakes are hilarious. I would've liked it a little better if Charlie and company found out how their fair was sabotaged (WE see how it happens, though). All in all, though, Daddy Day Care is definitely worth watching.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I Loved It - Very Cute
Review: I thought this movie was great. I saw it with my almost 7 year old daughter and she loved it too. There was just so much in this movie to relate to for parent and child. I know my daughter was wanting to go to Daddy Day Care herself. I loved the scenes when Charlie and Kim are looking for a cheaper alternative to the upper-crusty Chapman Academy. What parent hasn't had an experience like that, day-care, babysitter, whatever? Eeeww, I don't think so! I'm not leaving my child anywhere near you!! I just really enjoyed the movie and was not ready for it to end. It was a feel good movie. Some people just can't enjoy a movie for what it is. If you want some laughs and to have your heart touched by the positive message, then enjoy.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A pleasant-enough evening out for the family
Review: I took the whole family, hubby kids and all, to see this, and it was an entirely acceptable evening out for everyone. It's not much higher in quality (writing, acting, etc.) than your average TV sitcom but the premise you came to see (Eddie Murphy plays with some kids) is played out predictably and amusingly, right down to the potty jokes.

Sadly Angelica Houston is wasted in a badly-written part as the villainous headmistress of a rival snooty daycare 'Academy.'
