Review: Adventures in Babysitting inspired me to become a screenwriter and entertainment journalist. Elisabeth Shue has a great role and she's funny! This movie is an adrenaline rush of a good time. More movies should be made like this--this should have won Best Picture of 1987. Move over icy Citizen Kane--this movie is amazing!

Review: By the comedy standards of today - this is genius, this is magic, this is all that film needs to be. Ok Leonard Maltin - it is not Gone With the Wind. It was not meant to be. It is charming, fun, and reminds me of my youth. And I believe it can still appeal to the youth of today, tomorrow and yesterday. What other movie can feature the line - "Don't ---- with the babysitter" and stay warm in a 20-something's heart? I love it. Chances are all non-maltins will too.

Review: This is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Elisabeth Shueand the rest of the cast do a very convincing job. It is extremelyfunny on one hand, but will have you on the edge of your seat at other times. Never a dull moment! Although the situation Elisabeth Shue's character gets into is perhaps a bit far-fetched, it is something that all babysitters can relate to. Shue showed what a great actress she really is in this movie. It's not surprising that she later went on to get an Oscar nomination. I would recommend this movie to both young and old alike.

Review: I found this movie to be a realistic portrayal of the dramatic realities of babysitting. Liz Shue was a prodigy actress in her youth and played the role of Chris Parker as if she was really babysitting on film. They really take you to another realm in this one. Hop onboard for a thrilling rollercoaster ride! There will be hilarious scenes that have you falling off your seat, and others where you're holding your breath or ripping out your hair in anticipation!

Review: When I first saw this movie in Los Angeles,California, I thought it was the best comedy i've seen in years.Elisabeth Shue played a wonderful role as Chris Parker.The Story is about a 17 year old girl named Chris Parker who is forced to babysit her neighbours after her date was cancelled.She then gets a call from her best friend Brenda who claims she has run away from home to downtown Chicogo, she must rush to save her and... well the rest is for you to find out!! This film was also availible in VHS form. Enjoy!!!

Summary: Best portral of what babysitting actually feels like.
Review: This movie is by far the best ever made. Touchstone Pictures should re-release it, because I am desperately trying to get my hands on a copy and I have failed. This movie shows all of the heartaches and trama's that babysitters have to go through while babysitting. While, most of the situations are unreal for an average babysitter, the feelings expressed by Shue hit very close to home for many babysitters. It is definitely a hard job at times and this movie shows that as long you keep your head, everything will work out in the end. It also teaches children not to wonder off, or else something bad might happen.
