Summary: brilliant
Review: This is simply one of the most brilliant and provocative and most of all funny pieces of satire I have ever read/seen/heard. It is hysterical.

Review: KiTH are awesome, and their vision does not stop with this movie. Their offbeat and hilarious brand of comedy is fully unleashed in Brain Candy and I LOVE IT! The subject of the movie is a greatly untapped comedic subject--psychosomatic drugs-- and they rip it to shreds. A lot of classic characters appear in the movie, along with plenty of fun new characters to laugh at. Every time I see this movie, I poo my pants I laugh so hard. Don't you want to poo your pants too??? See this movie!!!

Summary: Not the best movie ever, but one of the funniest!
Review: this movie generates lots of laughs when a "happy drug" traps people in their best memory forever. The plot's a little choppy, and a bit slow in parts, and it's certainly not for the easily offended, but the whole movie's worth repeated viewing when Scott Thompson's character comes out of the closet in a prolonged musical number. Or when Bruce McCulloch's depressed rock star turns into an Osmond-wannabe. Yes, Brendan Fraser's in a cameo appearance, but the Kids are the real stars. Definitely worth owning.

Review: How can any one not enjoy this movie? Come on people. This is one of those movies that you can watch over again and still laugh and also you start to notcing alot of jokes that you didin't notcie at first. Alot of critics didn't give this movie a chance. Ebert are you out of your mind? The direction is bad? Come on, i was amazed at how in the beging they move to each little story by the direction of the camera. I can't wait until this comes out on DVD, i don't want to wear out the tape like i almost did with my monty python tapes.

Review: Biting satire. Whacky performances. Corporate USA never looked worse. If you like the 'Kids In The Hall' series, you'll love this. At least it looks like they had a chance to rehearse.

Summary: Eagerly awaiting a DVD release.
Review: Excellent movie, amazingly funny. I love The Kids in the Hall, and you definitely have to be a fan to enjoy the movie as much as I did. The camera work was also very unique (I was impressed, anyway). This is the best movie to come out of Lorne Michaels ever. Better than all the SNL movies combined... so where's the DVD?

Summary: This is a must-see for anyone who likes good movies
Review: Ok, this movie must be put on DVD. I know many people did not give this movie a chance, even though most of the reviews were favorable, and many of the Kids in the Hall "fans" did not plop down the $$$ to go see the movie. This is a shame. This has to be one of the best movies i've ever seen...Just the way the Kids play the over 40 characters in the film and how they could come up with one central plot that still gave them enough room to be creative is brilliant. You won't even believe you're seeing the same people over and over again (which you are). If you're a Kids in the Hall fan (and even if you're not), you owe it to yourself to buy or rent this movie just to see how a good, entertaining movie is really made. I might sound like I'm over-selling it...But i really enjoy this film. It is really funny. (As i slowly get payed off under the table.) And to the people who say they hate this movie...let's see them come up with something half as good! shah. This is just brilliant.

Summary: ...Great
Review: if you like the edgy sketch comedy of The Kids in The Hall, you will love there edgy film debue. This was a very funny movie for me and alot of my friends. This movie has some characters from the Tv show, such as the Taxi driver. This film is about a crazed doctor named Chris Cooper. He works for Don Roritor's company. The company fears money promblems and needs a back to school drug. Mr.Roritor interviews many Doctors such as the Worm Pill Scientist, and the Stummies Scientists. All of those ideas sound terrible so Don chooses Christopher Cooper's idea for an anti-depressent. Soon the drug begins to take over everybodies life (And beats Penicillin). Then the early test subjects (Who were rushed) begin to slip into commas, what happends next.. buy the movie.

Summary: "Brain Candy" That Really Will Rot Your Brain
Review: As a fan of the Kids in the Hall, I was sorely disappointed by their foray onto the big screen. The full-length movie does not have nearly the appeal that their half-hour syndicated schtick did. Possibly, they suffer from the "Saturday Night Live" syndrome in that most movies to come churning out of there do not do so well on film. Who's greenlighting these projects?!?

There is hardly any plotline to speak of in this movie, and it is terribly hard to follow the various mini-plots. The characterizations come off as tired and lackluster. It was all I could do to keep my attention peaked through the miserable thing, only out of some loyalty to the Kids. Maybe this movie would have been better with a few glasses of wine in my system, who knows. All I know is, I hope their live touring show was a better success.

Summary: Well, it's the Kids in the Hall
Review: I would say this is a good movie. It wasn't a great movie, but it was a good movie. The most appealing thing about it was just the fact that it was the Kids in the Hall, and if you're a KITH fan then you know how charming and funny they can be. This isn't KITH at it's funniest, but it's still very funny! I wouldn't recommend someone to see this until they have become acquainted with the KITH's sketch work pretty well, getting to know the actors' styles and the characters (there are some recurring characters and themes in this movie that echo the TV show). It's a really unique movie with an interesting storyline, but it's more of a mental humor than a laugh out loud stupid humor. It's one of those things in your head you'd be like "oh yeah... that's kinda funny." Still, it's a MUST for every KITH fan's collection. I adore the Kids in the Hall, it's my favorite TV show! If you're not familiar with them, either find it on TV or buy their Best Of videos here on Amazon! They're the funniest greatest thing I've ever seen, ever!
