Summary: The Full Monty:A great Film
Review: The Full Monty is a funny movie with well developed characters and a great plot. I enjoyed it thouroughly and it really made me laugh. One of the best movies out there. Buy it if you don't already own it. Bill Robinson, Genius at Work

Summary: You Will Laugh Your Head Off
Review: This movie was so successful (it cost only 3 million to make and made 200 million in profits) because it is one of the few comedies that delivers exactly how many laughs it should. Gnomes, G-Strings, unemployed blokes, sassy women who wanna see something... 'The Full Monty' is a true original. Everyone raves about it for good reason!!!

Summary: Not original
Review: It's funny but you know everything that is going to happen before it happens. It's not original.

Review: If you haven't seen the full Monty then you are missing out on a truly enjoyable experience!! I can't believe I'm admitting this but I have seen this movie 34 times. And it has made me laugh non-stop with each new viewing !! I'm even considering the start of a Full Monty fan club. I bet it wouldn't be hard to find members!! My heart sank when it didn't win best picture!! Also, the soundtrack to the movie is just as great. I play it loud and do my own full monty!!!!!

Summary: I LOVED IT!!!!! LOVED IT!!!!!!
Review: I HAVE SEEN THIS PICTURE NEARLY TWENTY TIMES AND NEVER TIRE OF IT. IT IS HILARIOUS, TENDER IN SOME SPOTS. THE PART WHERE THEY ARE IN LINE AND DONNA SUMMER'S "HOT LOVE" COMES ON IS PRICELESS. THE ACTORS ARE ALL OUTSTANDING.

Summary: A Top Ten Movie
Review: This movie has to be the funniest movie in recent years. It will be hard to beat as an all time favorite. You really learn to care about these characters and why they need to earn the money. The way they choose to earn it makes it all the funnier. The end is hysterical and made a Tom Jones fan out of me.

Summary: Robert, you can take your hat off any time!!
Review: A must for any video collection. After seeing it on the big screen, I just had to have a copy for myself. It still makes me laugh every time. Robert Carlyle is brillant - watch out for him in 'Angela's Ashes' - he's sure to cause a stir!

Summary: A Great Laugh
Review: Being British I know the 'types' in this movie so well. They are brilliantly portrayed by Robert Carlyle and his colleagues. Also, being a child of the seventies the musical score brough back many memories as I'm sure it did for most viewers. A group of (girl) friends and I got together to see this movie for the first time and were wiping away the tears of laughter. Well done Peter Cattaneao (director) we look forward to more of the same. What can I say - it was excellent and deserves to be what it is, "the best selling British movie of all time"

Summary: Made all my friends see this & so made 7 trips to the cine
Review: Top comedy combining from-the-belly laughs with subtle social commentary. Played at a theatre in my small city [40,000] for an unprecedented SIX months thanks to word-of-mouth. A must see! The relationship between Gaz & his kid, the overweight guy [Mark Addy] and his wife, even Gaz and his ex-wife are compelling. I don't know how the Brits do it, but characters who have only one line are so believable and memorable, e.g. the clerk at the unemployment counter, having heard rumors the group is going to strip at a club, looks up with such a look when the guy tells her he hasn't worked and says 'That's not what I heard.' Her only line and she becomes a real person. By the way, this year's sleeper is 'Little Voice' with Michael Caine.
