Rating: Summary: It's no Laurence of Arabia... Review: I loved this movie when it was on cable in my high school days in the early 80's so I jumped on the chance to buy it when it finally became available. Well, I was a little disappointed as it didn't seem as funny as I remember (but I also still remembered all the lines). It didn't help that my wife was sitting next to me saying "this is so stupid!". It was still a good purchase and I'm sure I will enjoy it again some day with the help of a few beers. If you liked Caddyshack you will probably like this movie.
Rating: Summary: Seeking Hollywood Knights for Years.... Review: I have been asking about this for last 5 years in video stores, NO LIE BABY! Newbomb Turk is killer, the van scene with his babe is killer in a "premature" kind of way, so is the Newbomb Turk Library Scene as is the Dance Scene with Punch. These are memories from years ago. I have not seen the movie in over ten years, but I do remeber it and I have wanted it. I am a big lover of Caddyshack, too, and this movie I sought for years. I even used to aggressively look for it on cable (HBO,Cinemax) etc, but it never came on. I would've subscribed for a couple of months just to be able to tape it. I told two people about it on 9/13/00 (two days ago) and here it is by accident. I was not even suspecting its availability. Awesome!

Rating: Summary: hollywood knights Review: Hollywood Knights.....simply the BEST cult comedy film. When you need to laugh this movie is the one. A hot rod Caddyshack. No need to rent it, buy it, you'll wear it out. CAUTION..."it has a little wang in it."
Rating: Summary: Newbomb and the "Knights" rock! Review: This movie portrays the 50's "hop shop car clubs" that were once prominent in that era. Tony Danza plays a high school age "chop top" car loving member of the "Hollywood Knights". He is faced with heart breaking decisions and tries to find himself. The other character Newbombe Turk is portrayed by Robert Wuhl. He is the "new age" leader of the club with hillarious antics and jokes. The "Knights" are the practical joke gods of their time. "Hollywood Knights" is both hillarious and heart touching.
Rating: Summary: It Does Have A Little WANG To It! Review: I am so bummed that this movie isn't in VHS format!! This is one of the funniest movies ever. It's a "check your brain at the door" and just have a good time. The filmmakers captured the era perfectly, along with the clothes, slang, etc. My older sister and brother were of this time period and trust me, they did some of the same stupid stuff the Knights did!!! Fran Drescher did a great job as the Princess in the movie (LOVE the line, "DID YOU COME?"); Robert Wuhl was SO good as the instigator. Also hilarious, Leigh French and Richard Schaal as the cheating couple who are so righteous, but sooooo hot to trot! The plotline between Tony Danza & Michelle Pfeiffer is kind of useless because they don't explore the characters enough. It's okay, but a bit of a waste. A fun evening would be to watch this along with "American Graffiti". I first saw this movie on HBO and then got my sister and brother hooked on the movie. We caught it almost everytime it was on HBO. We taped it, but as you can well imagine, a fresh copy is DESPERATELY needed. Looking forward to when this will be released on video! (hey, I only just started with CD's about 2 years ago---it'll be awhile til I get a DVD player!) If you haven't seen this movie yet, you should definitely get with The Hollywood Knights!
Rating: Summary: The Hollywood Knights: Good Get Drunk Comedy Review: What can I say about "the Hollywood Knights"? I have been watching it for almost ten years now and every time I see it, it gets funnier. The best time to watch it is when you are with a group of your buddies, like co-workers, or dorm friends from college, buy a couple cases of beer, pop in "the Hollywood Knights", and live a time that was innocent, yet disturbing. even though I was born in 1977, the stories that my father has told me about growing up at that time in his small town of Logan, Iowa, remind me of the hell that he and his buddies raised. The situation with the police is the same, Vietnam was n the minds of the young, hangouts were customary, and getting that girl you liked was number one, or number two, depending on how serious you were. Every Baby Boomer's child should watch this movie to see what things were like when their parents were young. Then, ask them questions.
Rating: Summary: It's about darn time! Review: Fans of this movie have been waiting for years for it's release. My guess is that some sort of corp. red tape kept it off the video rack for so long. There's a group of guys in California so in love with this flick, they have their own Hollywood Knights club and they have the original cars from the movie and take on the movies personalities. Heck, that ought to tell you how cool it is! Look those guys up on the web....that's how I found them.
Rating: Summary: Bimbo Review: "You're lying to a police officer...You little son of a b....!" Aside from the cheesey plot line with Tony Danza and Michelle Pfeiffer, this movie stands as the one the greatest quotable flicks out there.
