Rating: Summary: HOLLYWOOD KNIGHTS RULE! Review: This movie was the movie acting debut of Tony Danza,Michelle Pfiffer and Robert Wohl. This movie is mostly funny, just a notch below Animal House as far as laughability. Watch out for the one armed violinist. Parents beware, there is a good amount of nudity and provocotive language.
Rating: Summary: Memory Lane. Review: Maybe I wasn't old enough to remember, but this film sure shows it like what I imagined it would be. The end of the 50's innocense, and the start of a whole new America: for better, and for worse. Watch the two worlds; established authority, and rebellious youth, clash in some of the most hilarious situations brought to the screen. See the 50' fade, while the Hollywood Knights do their level best to preserve a dying lifestyle with pranks, public obscenity, and farting. This is Animal house meets Happy Days, with a bit of ominous "coming of age" stuff thrown in to put a little tear in your eye. Personally, I could have done without the whole "Vietnam foreshadowing" thing, or the mushy romance sidlines, but as I see it, this film wants to make a little statement, while it keeps you laughing. So get a taste of what the good life used to be like. This film should keep you entertained all the way through.
Rating: Summary: Lawrence of Arabia it Ain't Review: This movie is hilarious. Of course, it help if you saw it at a drive in movie theater in the '80s. I was a hero when I showed up with a copy at a reunion of my high school and college friends who I originally saw the movie with. However, if you have never seen the movie - you probably won't like it. It's a silly movie and has some funny moments - but not everyone's cup of tea. Now if I could only find my puffer.
Rating: Summary: Hollywood Knights - A Blast from the past Review: A look at the wacky world of 1965. With Hot Rods and Hot Girls and of course the Hollywood Knights. A car club who ruled Tubby's Drive in with their Zany antics. If you are over the age of 40, this movie will certainly bring back memories..

Desperate times calls for desperate measures, I was so dissapointed in this movie, This is a buyer beware movie Don't but in despearation!
Rating: Summary: Much Better Than American Graffiti! Review: The impression that you come away with from Hollywood Knights is one of a lot of young people out to have a good time. Maybe because it isn't burdened by the likes of Ron Howard, Wolfman Jack or a tired soundtrack, this video moves quickly and is a ton of fun to watch. It will bring back all those wonderful memories of high school as you wish it had happened. Great fun.
Rating: Summary: Yes It's Trash, But Funny Trash! Review: Okay folks, all you fans of Lawrence Olivier and Gone With The Wind-THIS AIN'T FOR YOU! This is good old fashioned, crude, low-grade, politically incorrect leave your manners at the door FUN! The initiation of the fat guy with glasses, the cops adding lyrics to "Lawrence of Arabia" and yelling HORSE----T at the neighborhood meeting, the taping in the ladies room, the "finger violin" gag, the punch "having a little wang to it!" the guy whose "pants fit him like a glove." Laughs galore here folks, a crude comedy classic. VO-LA-RE!
Rating: Summary: Hollywood Knights Gets its Due! Review: I saw this movie when it first came out about twenty years ago and I remember the audience howling at the screen. It was shown occasionally on cable in which some scenes were edited and on regular tv (in which it is butchered beyond recognition). What hurt this movie is that it came out after, and was compared to, American Graffitti and Animal House. However, it stands on its own as a comedy cult classic and now it is released on DVD uncut, uncensored, and in widescreen. Robert Whul, as the hilarious Newbaume, is the stand out talent in this movie, and the other characters, gags and the soundtrack are excellent. Look for Fran Drescher and TK Carter in supporting roles.
Rating: Summary: It's about time this movie came out on video! Review: I first viewed it in the early 80's and laughed to tears at the antics of Neubaum and the other Knights. This movie is a cross between Porky's and American Graffiti and well worth owning. The comedy, setting and cars are superb but are only second to the actors and actresses who really make this film a success.
Rating: Summary: "Go Newbaum" Review: Simply the best car movie ever made! Great characters that made you wonder "what the heck" happened to the Duker and Jimmie Shine.
