Review: Oh my god... Anyone who rates this movie as being poor is beyond help! If you've ever been in college, drank a beer, had a girlfriend, or even just had one fun memory of being in school... this movie WILL make you laugh. People are bashing this movie for reasons like it didn't have a script that would win literary awards. I say, "LIGHTEN UP!" You obviously have never had crazy fun with good friends so you have nothing to relate to in this movie. This movie is the funniest thing ever put to film. That's the best way I know how to describe it. Thank you.

Review: Ive seen this movie many times. I cant go a year without seeing it. Me and my friends chip in to rent it often. Its very funny. Its so cool when Adam destroys those kids in dodgeball! I always laugh! Or the paper bags he sets on fire on that guys step! Its a real classic in my book so check it out!

Summary: A classic comedy
Review: In true Adam Sandler style this movie is extreemly funny! There isn't a second when you aren't laughing. There really isn't a film the Sandler has done that isn't brilliant. If you've seen any of his other movies your'll like this one. If your thinking Adam who? then you have to buy this just to experience Sandler at his best, trust me your want to buy all his movies after seeing anyone of them. If you like this film the check out Happy Gilmore(1996).Get this and a promise you will enjoy it.

Summary: A Subversive Gem..
Review: Normally I loathe the "dumb guy" movies that seemed to have emerged around the same time as BILLY MADISON (Dumb&Dumber, Bio Dome, et al.), however Sandler's debut is an incredible exception. This "low" comedy has moments of sheer insanity/brilliance that push it towards the realm of surrealism. This is true subversion. Unfortunately, both Sandler and director Tamra Davis were unable to follow up with anything remotely as brilliant. This applies especially to Sandler, whose each proceding movie further mires him in the gutter mediocrity. Witness the travesty of BIG DADDY, a film with as much bite as an episode of FULL HOUSE.. with less humour. Alas, he is now a multi-millionaire...

Review: I don't understand the negative feedback from some people here. This is a hilarious movie with a lot of bits that had me rolling on the floor. This is classic Adam Sandler, much funnier than Happy Gilmore and with more edgy comedy than Big Daddy.

Summary: Adam Sandler at his best!
Review: Great movie. As always, the concept is poor but Adam, with his jokes, faces, and special approach to the part, makes it so great (and the guest appearance by Steve Buchemi helps too). Released by Universal Pictures, who don't have a clue as to why DVD was invented: there are NO extra features at all! But we came for Adam, and he gave me what I wanted: laughs! Summary: Hey kids it's me!
Review: Billy Maddison is an exceptionally funny film. I had no hesitation in buying this for my DVD collection. One word of warning though, (well, a few words of warning) I think early Adam Sandler movies (like this one) require a really specialised sense of humour like Jim Carrey or to a lesser extent Mike Myers. So if you like your Liar Liars and your Austin Powers then I believe this is the film for you. (Look out for the clown bit! )

Summary: Adam's Work Is Average, but story is great
Review: I believe that this is one of the funniest stories around. A kid fails school, his dad pays the teachers to give him good grades, his dad retires from a Fortune 500 company, and doesn't want to give the company to his son. So his son goes to school again, hoping to pass. I truly believe that Adam Sandler was not the man for the job. He doesn't seem interested, and his role isn't like super duper big, as there are many scenes where there are many people on screen, not just Adam.
