Just think of it a world following your life...watching you live,sleep,work play and even the X rated scenes ! (not in my liking, but it could happen) Carrey is excellent, even better than The Mask. A must buy

Review: I have to say this has to be one of my favorite movies it is truely amazing! Jim Carry is outstanding! This has to be his best preformance yet! This movie is great for all ages. I highly recommed renting this movie, and buying eventuly but the price that it is beening sold at now is outragous! Hey if I did have $91, I would buy this movie now, but I don't so....

Review: I think that The Truman Show is Jim Carrey's best performance yet! He maintains amazing "self control" in not talking out of his @$$, and give this film four stars, two thumbs up, and the displays the best acting skills of his career. I award for best movie of the year. Kudos to Jim for his breakthrough into drama.

Review: The Truman Show is quite simply wonderful. It surprised me that Hollywood could come up with something this original. Jim Carrey showed the world that he can actually act, not just flail around and act stupid. The Truman Show is original, funny, and provoking. The DVD version is excellent, with no crawling or artifacts seen in other Paramount DVDs. Included are two theatrical trailers, more than any other Paramount DVD. Hopefully Paramount's upcoming DVDs include these sort of extras. But I must say The Truman Show is the kind of movie dying for commentary or a featurette, but nothing of the sort was included. But the movie itself is enough reason to purchase the DVD.

Review: I loved this movie, lots of people said it was ok, but I think that's because they didn't know what was going on. I felt so sorry for Truman, I keep on imaginig how it must be if I was in his position. I thought it was so mean and horrible to have your life made for you.
