Review: Three women. The three of them are devorced: But what happens when they choose to get revenge from their husbands for dumping them for a younger woman?
Brenda (Bette Midler) , Annie (Diane Keaton) and Elise (Goldie Hawn) seem to form the perfect group to make a club for first wives club. Very amusing situations and very entertaining story for a change. This film however is for a particular audience as i've noticed, and only comedy lovers have welcomed it perfectly with acclaim! Directed by one of the greatests, Rob Reiner, i find this movie very nice for a pleasant and enjoyable evening.

Review: Hi, my name's Steven and I'm 23 years old. I saw this movie when I was 17 back when I was in 10th grade.Even to this day, I still remember how mean-spirited this movie was. I don't care how you look at it, it's really just mindless cruelty to 3 guys who had nothing to do with the death of the friend of their 3 ex-wives. What they did to those innocent guys financially was in my opinion totally mean and uncalled for. I thought that maybe the movie would be funny and turn out good at the very end. However, other than that guy Morty getting back together with his ex-wive, it was no better for the other 2 guys. I honestly did not enjoy this movie one bit. In fact, this movie enraged me and ended up hating women in general for a few hours to a few days after the movie was over. Selling Bill's yellow Lamborghini at that auction and then having it bought back by his own money was indeed terrible! That's a car more valuable than a Ferrari! This movie utterly disgusted me all the way. Other than those mean roles Diana, Goldie, and Bettie played, I've always liked those actresses. Have a nice day,

Summary: Trio of Great Women in a Great Movie!!
Review: Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn and Diane Keaton star as three 40 something wives of husbands who in their prime and who now want some younger babes. These three women in return seek their own revenge against their husbands. Bette once again steals the show with her outgoing and zany personality. She also places herself as the leader of the group. Goldie Hawn does well as the old actress who is a drunk and who gives many comedic moments. Diane Keaton shows the most talent as she holds the film together the most among the three of them. The supporting cast which includes great performances from Eileen Heckart, Stephen Collins,Sarah Jessica Parker and others do a good job. This film made over $100 million at the box office which stamped a seal of success to the three women who were all 50 years old when the movie was released. It is a great female action/drama movie from the three and from Bette who is used to starring in pairs wiht women her age as in OUTRAGEOUS FORTUNE, BIG BUSINESS and HOCUS POCUS. See this movie!!

Review: Being male is not easy when you watch a movie like this. But, how can you not root for the women? A clever, funny, cruel, and intriguing movie which will keep you glued to the seat better than any "Rambo" movie could. Getting tricked by a date to sit through this wasn't pleasant, but be assured, I had the time of my life. Rent it, buy it, watch it over and over. Review: Some people will find this shallow. Some will think it's too easy on men because one marriage was reconciled. Others will think it was too hard on men. I, for one, never figured out what they were going to do at the center for women that they built, so that "no woman will ever have to go through this again." But it's not a how-to manual or a children's movie, and it wasn't written by activists (thank goodness). It was funny and poignant and a great evenings entertainment! Besides I like most anything Bette is in.

Review: I applaud you Jerrod Hesse, finally someone has the guts to say that feminazis out there are a bunch of wackos. Of course everyone out there are all feed the bull that Hollywoods dishes out that women are the all powerful, smart and if women ruled the world there would be peace on earth and nothing ever could go wrong if women ruled the world. But if that was so then women would have men locked up and told not to speak and have a mind of there own. So it's very hypocritical for Women to say there are feminist. Because if that were true why then did Jane Fonda give up acting? Wasn't she a feminist and anyway every feminist I ever came across always gave up anything for a man. But mostly any feminist can never back up any issue she tries to get across. Just like any liberal can never have a political disscussion without turning it into argument, just like the enviromentilist always wind up burning up or putting holes into oil pipelines. Oh , if men did not rule the world then nothing that we have now would ever be. So men is a good idea that God did create in his image. Everything we see here on earth that we use everyday was thought up because of men. NOT by feminazis who believe that men are the creaters of wars. NO monsters are who start wars. Men are the ones who end wars and bring peace. Oh, and I almost forgot this movie is good. Not great. Just good, and Goldie Hawn was great, she desearved a Golden Globe.

Review: Terrific!! Amazing!!!! This film is one of best that I saw. I love Bette Midler. I adore Goodie Haw. And I've never seen any movie with Miss Diane Keaton. I was impressed when I saw these 3 girls together. I love the part when the 3 girls are in Morty's apartment. Funny!funny! I laugh everytime when Shelly ( Sarah Jessica) and Morty are coming back to apartment and MIdler,Haw and Keaton don't know how to get out there. While Brenda (Midler) is saying to Duarto Feliz to "improvise", Keaton is saying " I'm clean! I'm clean! " ( totally mad ). Shaking her body like an insane woman. Funny!
The whole film is very funny. Right movie to right actresses.
Excellent movie!!! It's in my Video Library. It's a classical!!

Review: I am going through a divorce after 21 years of marriage. This movie came recommended to me by my counselor. It is great and cheaper than any therapy session. If you wind up in my situation, you can get a ray of sunshine from those gals in this movie. If you are a man, well laugh anyway. The club would allow in any spouse who has been dumped! When life hands you lemons, make lemonade!
