Summary: Dumb and Dumber
Review: Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels give an award winning preformance in the greatest comedy of all time.This is the basic plot. Lloyd Christmas(Carrey) and Harry Dunn(Daniels) set out to try to deliever a briefcase Mary Swanson(Lauren Holly) leaves in the terminal at an airport. The money belongs to mob kidnappers. The two drive halfway across the country to try to bring the briefcase to Mary. When Lloyd brings the briefcase back to Mary he asks her "What do you the chances of a girl like me and a guy like you ending up together.One out of a hundred. Mary says " No Lloyd more like one out of a million". Lloyd goes "So youre telling me there is a chance" That is just one hillarious part after another in this must see comedy Dumb& Dumber

Summary: Excellent for a debut direction
Review: As i said, for a debut direction, this is very funny, no doubt the story id very good, and i have no problem with the acting. Again, as the farrwlly brother's other comedies, this is pure toilet bad taste humour, which in some cases isn't bad. If you liked there's something about mary, and me myself and irene, you should consider this.

Summary: TWO WORDS.....SIMPLY CLASSIC
Review: I can't even put into words how brilliant Mr. Carey and Mr. Daniels were in this dead HILARIOUS film! From the first scene (LETS PUT ANOTHER SHRIMP ON THE BARBE) to the closeing minutes (MY FRIEND HARRY HERE IS A LITTLE SLOW...THE TOWN IS THAT WAY) the movie is just packed with classic slapstick comedy. I'd have to agree with the millions of other people who think that this is the most fabulous comedy ever released. I even went through a period of about a couple months in which i watched the movie numerous times a week! ITS JUST THAT GOOD! Everytime I watch the movie to this day im always finding little spoofs that i never noticed before, even though ive seen the movie........oh i'd say about a good 80 times! I personally dont understand how anyone could give this movie 1 star and said that they FELL ASLEEP during it. that just REALLY PISSES ME OFF TO HEAR THAT. Anyone who doesnt find humor in this masterpiece obviously has no pesronality and sense of humor whatsoever. YOU GOTTA BE A LOWLIFE TO NOT LIKE THIS MOVIE. it blows every other comedy made out of the water in my mind. ITS THAT GOOD. havent seen it? SEE IT. dont own it? BUY IT. dont like it? DIE.

Summary: The Farrelly Brothers at their Best!
Review: This hysterical comedy starring Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey is filled with some of the funniest lines and sight gags I've seen in a long time. The plot is basically this, although it veers around somewhat through all of the antics the two half-wits get into; Lloyd(Jim Carrey), meets the woman of his dreams, Mary(Lauren Holly) while picking her up to drive her to the airport. Unbeknownst to him as she walks to her gate, she leaves a briefcase on the ground to be picked up by two tough looking criminals(Karen Duffy and Mike Starr). Not wanting his love at first sight Mary to forget her briefcase, Lloyd springs out of the limo, grabs the briefcase before the thugs can, runs after Mary'[s already departed plane, and falls off the jetway. It turns out that he and his best friend Harry(Jeff Daniels) has also been fired, so Lloyd tells Harry about his new-found love. "L: She actually talked to me, man! H: Get outta here!" Lloyd decides to pursue Mary, who told him that her next stop would be Aspen. Harry agrees to go with Lloyd, whild they unknowingly are pursued by the two criminals. This movie is a scream! Jim Carrey is wonderful as Lloyd, as is Jeff Daniels playing the equally moronic Harry. Also great is the supporting Lauren Holly, who incidentally began dating Carrey after the movie finished. The smaller roles are perfectly played by Karen Duffy, Mike Starr, Charles Rocket, Teri Garr, and Victoria Rowell. You'll laugh yourself silly!

Summary: TIC TAC SIR???
Review: Another incredibly hilarious movie by the Farrelly brothers. I remember the first time I saw the trailer for Dumb and Dumber in a theatre. My impression was that this movie was going to be a waste of time. My nephew dragged me to the theatre when it came out and I was sore for 3 days from laughing so hard!! Forget the negative feedback. Check your brain at the door and be prepared to laugh 'til you cry!! See Dumb and Dumber back-to-back with Kingpin (another Farrelly soon be classic) You will be sore for a week from laughing!! Very fun!!

Summary: Slapstick at It's Wierdest
Review: A typically Jim Carrey film. I do beleive the title to be a rather large understatement. Carrey and Daniels average IQ must be a combined 1/2 point.Carrey and Daniels are living together in a rundown apartment with only a worm farm and a parrot. Carrey is a limo driver for rich executives making ends meat. Until one day, he thinks he has met the girl of his dreams. Carrey unaware that she left her bag at the airport on purpose for a ransom exchange scoops the bag up and presedes to drag Daniels across the country searching for her so he can return it. On the way they manage to kill a man with rat poisioning, set themselves on fire, trick a cop into drinking urine, and even manage to stay alive. Once there they discover that the suitcase was full of money and deceide to start living the rich life until the ransomers finally catch up...

Review: inferior performnces in a script gathered from ancient junior high level jokes. maybe if you are 9 years old this is funny. Can Jim carrey act or is his forte being himself? If I could give this film -5 stars, I would. Bo-ring.

Review: This "thing" was one of the worst movies that I have ever seen. It is also one of the few movies that I fell asleep through. If you like good comedies, avoid this movie at all costs!!!!!! I wish that i could give it a negative rating.

Summary: So dumb it's funny
Review: Lloyd (Jim Carrey) loses his job, but not until he sees the best looking woman he's ever seen, Mary (Lauren Holly). She leaves her luggage at an airport and Lloyd hopes to take it back to her one day. He teams up with his best friend Harry (Jeff Daniels) to travel from Providence, Rhode Island to Aspen, Colorado to look for her. But they won't get their unscarred because they have a couple of thieves on their tales."Dumb & Dumber" really is a dumb and corny movie. It's so dumb and corny that it's funny and hilarious. This movie came out when I was still in school and I heard tons of jokes such as other people pointing at one person saying dumb and another one saying dumber. This is one of Jim Carrey's funniest movies without a doubt, it has many parts that you'll probably never forget once you see them, such as when somebody accidentally kills an owl that was the last of its kind. But that's only one example, I could list a page full of hilarious parts in this movie. If you want a hilarious movie that everybody can enjoy over and over, I definitely recommend getting "Dumb & Dumber." But I have one question: Which one is dumb and which one is dumber?

Summary: Polly want a cracker?
Review: Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey have incredible comic chemistry as two bumbling idiots on a cross country trip to return a breifcase full of money to its rightful owner, at least who they THINK is the rightful owner (it was ransom money). "Mary Swanson...Swamy...Slappy..." "Maybe it's on the briefcase" "Samsonite!" This movie is filled with lots of that kind of moronic humor. Plain and simple stupidity, but the sad part is we all know people that are actually 'dumb and dumber'. The hijinks include selling a dead parakeet to a blind kid, the famous tongue on cold metal trick and the kiss from hell. It is really, really funny, even after viewing it several times. I deducted a star for too many body function jokes, not my cup of tea, but if they are yours then this movie should be right up your alley.
