Review: I am not a huge fan of comedies nor do I particularly like Jim Carrey, but Dumb and Dumber is one of my favorite movies! I first saw it only a couple of years ago on television. And I thought it was so funny. Whenever it comes on television I watch it. Until I finally bought a copy for myself; now I can watch it whenever I want. This is the type of movie you don't have to watch too closely after the first time. In other words, it is a good movie to pop in when you are doing other things - house work, school work, or whatever. I love the music in it. The movie never seems dated. And the performances are dead on. There is even a sweetness to Carrey's character that comes across. Funniest part: when Lloyd sees the framed newspaper article in the lobby bar about the moon landing. "All right! Hey everybody, we landed on the moon." I never get tired of this movie. If I have a bad day, this perks me up. I definitely recommend it even if you don't like funny movies. And look for a cameo by Cam Neely, formerly of the Boston Bruins, as Seabass!

Review: This is one of, if not the, funniest movies of all time. Jim Carry it at the hight of his game with this side splitting comedy that has enough memorable lines to make you the life of any party. If you don't like this movie, you would have to be one pathetic loser, no offence. So go buy it, what the heck are you waiting for.

Summary: Dumber and Funnier than anything else
Review: After having seen this film at leat 10 times, I still laugh out loud just at seeing the cover. This is easily Jim Carrey's best film, which does exactly what it was intended to do: make you laugh. I received the VHS version in Spanish from friends and it was still hilarious, dubbing and all. The film does not make any intellectual breakthroughs but I dare anyone to keep a straight face when Carrey has a dream sequence at night of impressing his would be love interest by being the life of the party. Just when you catch your breath, our tow heroes make a grand entrance on a 'hog' in Aspen that's worth the purchase price of the DVD alone. You'll explode with laughter. The ending is perfect and reflects exactly what such characters would have done in the same circumstances. Many would dismiss this as a stupid film. It's much worse and that's the whole point. It gets my wholehearted 5 star rating because it succeeds entirely in what it sets out to do. Give you a stomach aching laugh for days!

Review: Esta buena la pelicula, y tiene subtítulos en español. Se trata de 2 tontos que pierden sus trabajos y van desde Rhode Island hasta Colorado para llevar un portofolio que dejó una guapa mujer en Rhode Island. Ellos hacen puras cochinadas y se meten en problemas graves... ES el tipo de humor que se encuentra en "los 3 chiflanos". Les recomiendo si quieren reir.

Summary: Dumb, dumber....dumbest!
Review: This movie seems to enclose every kind of juvenile and childish humor that can be found. Alot of pranks including burping and farting. Some might find it funny for a while, but after about 10 minutes it gets old. I am not big fan of Jim Carrey, but this was a new low for him, and as for Daniels one have to wonder what make him participate in a movie like this. Daniels is actualy a talented actor. The story is thin and it is certainly not here that you will find a reason to watch the movie(and nowhere else in fact). But I will say if you like Scary Movie and Scary Movie 2 and movies like that you will propably enjoy this movie too.

Review: i've been a fan of this movie for almost 4 years, i can watch it over and over and the jokes still make me laugh till i cry. the plot is believable and jim carrey and jeff daniels are perfect as the dim-witted buddies. this is a must see!

Review: Dumb! Silly! (act your age? i always thought that one was hooha) Extremely annoying the first time. Apathy the second. A sick interest the third. Fourth time around confused and P.O.'ed. Finnaly realizing by the fifth how I do so much love the absurd. PURE JOY! (mindless joy, the best)

Review: If your one who loves a good wacky, screwball comedy than this movie will be your favorite comedy forever!! If your a Jim Carrey fan, this is by far his funniest and zaniest movie ever. I saw it in the theatres when it first came out and never had heard an audience laugh so hard(myself included). Brilliant physical comedy and sheer comedic stupidity by Jim Carrey not to mention a fantastic performance from Jeff Daniels as his dumber sidekick. This movie gets funnier and funnier everytime I see it(which is probably about 75 times now). Dont deprive yourself!!

Summary: Hilarious!
Review: The bottom line is: either you like this type humor or you don't. Personally, I love it! When I saw this in the theatre in early 1995 I couldn't stop laughing... as I can't now. That's just how I react to this type of humor. I think Jim Carrey is incredibly funny, great facial expressions, funny lines & fantastic delivery. Jeff Daniels laugh just cracks me up. There are great one liners that I find myself saying still. It's just a funny movie... IF! If you like other movies like "Me, Myself & Irene", "There's something about Mary", "Airplane", all of the "Naked Gun" movies, "Baseketball"... If you don't like those type movies - don't bother - you won't like this either. And don't write a bad review about it. Just accept that you don't like it & be more productive with something you DO like. But for those of you who like that type of humor - your gonna love this. A few scenes still bring me to tears with laughter. Like i said - either you like this type humor or you don't.
