Summary: THIS MOVIE IS SOOO FUNNY
Review: Dumb and Dumber is one of my favorite slap/stick comedies I've ever seen. Jim Carrey and Jack Daniels are the perfect pair for this movie.The plot is that Lloyd (Jim Carrey) sees this gorgeous lady-Mary Swanson-while taking her to the airport and he falls in love with her at first sight. The lady is one her way to Aspen,Colorado and right before she leaves the airport she forgets her briefcase. Now it's Lloyd's and Harry's (Jack Daniel's)turn to return the briefcase, and maybe see if Lloyd can get the girl. Most of the humor in this movie is on the way to Aspen. Overall, this movie is excellent! I highly recommend this movie to comedy lovers! The DVD features include: Both widescreen and regular full-frame versions converted from the new, High Definiton transfer of the film!

Review: First of all, I love Jim Carey. I remember him from the days he was in the Fox comedy sketch comedy show "In Living Color." I'm glad to see his comic genius flourish to the mainstream movie audience. Dumb & Dumber is by far his best comedy yet and is definitely #1 on my list of all-time favorite movies. The "dumb" nature of this movie allows Carey (Lloyd) to indulge in his personalized crazy humor. Giving an equally great performance was Jeff Daniels (Harry). These two were made for each other! Lloyd Christmas, a limo driver, and Harry Dunn, a dog breeder/groomer drive to Aspen, California errr I mean Colorado to deliver a lost briefcase owned by the lovely Mary Swanson (Lauren Holly). However, the briefcase was not lost at all. Instead, it was meant to be a ransom payoff in return for Mary's husband who was apparently kidnapped. A roadtrip was just the perfect adventure for these two tweedle dumb's as they encounter and confuse many people with their innocent and childish stupidity. Not only is this movie chalk full of fart and poop jokes (and it is) but they are also tasteful fart & poop jokes! Only Jim Carey could pull off the wickedly funny facial expressions required to show his relief from whizzing into a beer bottle while driving in Harry's sheepdog van. I'm sure everyone has seen this movie already as it is an intergral part of American culture! And if not, what are you waiting for???

Summary: It's supposed to be dumb, people!
Review: I don't why many movie critics from the past and the present critically panned this film. It's freakin' hilarious! It paved the way for disgusting comedies like THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY and SCARY MOVIE. By the way, the Farrelly brothers, who masterly directed this film, also did MARY. Anyway, DUMB & DUMBER will leave in hesterics! Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are amazingly stupid as characters Lloyd and Harry. The two lovable losers from Rhode Island go cross country to Aspen, Colorado to return a loaded briefcase to a woman named Mary (Lauren Holly), whom Lloyd is in love with. But the two dimwits don't know that assassins are on theyre' tail to retrieve the briefcase! Ok, everyone know's the storyline, so let's talk about the humor in the film. One of my favorite scenes in the film is when a cop pulls Harry and Lloyd for a speed ticket, and unknowingly drinks a beer bottle with Lloyd's yerin in it. Funny! And when the dipstick Harry sticks his tongue to a frozen pole (borrowed liberally from A CHRISTMAS STORY) and experiences horrible diahorea. Sounds crude, but it's movie magic at its best. Oh yeah, the scene where Lloyd accidently killing a endangered snow owl, and saying the line "Boy this party really died", is a classic Carrey moment. If your a fan of Carrey and the Farrelly Brothers, or like disgusting comedies, or just simply a moron, you'll love this film! One of Carrey's best!

Summary: Not exactly intellectual humor
Review: Dumb and Dumber is a comedy classic that does not make you think a lot, but it will have you laughing throughout. The story follows the adventures of Lloyd and Harry, two morons with bad jobs living together. Lloyd is a limo driver while Harry has a pet grooming business with a car that looks like a dog. When Lloyd drives the woman of his dreams to the airport, he sees that she forgot a briefcase and tries to bring it to her not aware of its very important contents. Lloyd and Harry go on a cross country trip to give back the briefcase to its rightful owner. There is plenty of lowbrow humor and bathroom gags, but it works with these two actors. Many people dismiss this kind of humor, but I find it hilarious as do many other people. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels star as Lloyd and Harry, the two bumbling idiots from Rhode Island. Their adventures on their trip will have you rolling around on the ground. Carrey's facial expressions are great as is his overall performance. Too bad they couldn't get these two for the sequel. Lauren Holly stars as Mary Swanson, the woman of Lloyd's dreams and the woman who owns the briefcase. The movie also stars Karen Duffy, Victoria Rowell, Charles Rocket and Teri Garr. The DVD is poor at best with widescreen and fullscreen options and theatrical trailers included. So much more could have been done(maybe a outtakes reel?). If you have the VHS stick with that, but everyone should check out Dumb and Dumber even if you don't buy it. A comedy classic!

Summary: Lloyd and Harry: 2 of the Stupidest People Alive!
Review: Hey, is today a no-brainer for you? Well, for Harry and Lloyd, EVERY day is a no brainer! This hilarious 1994 comedy is about 2 of the STUPIDEST people alive! Lloyd (Jim Carrey, The Mask) drives a woman named Mary (Lauren Holly, Any Given Sunday),who is going to Aspen (which Lloyd thinks is a warm place in California), to the airport in Providence, and she leaves a briefcase full of money for ransom to get back her kidnapped husband, but Lloyd thinks she forgot it. So, just before the 2 kidnappers, a girl and a guy, can pick it up, Lloyd comes running by, grabs it, and tries to get to the plane, but too late. It has already left, and he falls out onto the runway. So he goes home and tells his friend Harry (Jeff Daniels, 101 Dalmatians) about what happened, and so they drive to Aspen with the briefcase, in a van that looks like a dog, with lots of laughs along the way! When they are about 23 miles from Aspen, Lloyd makes a wrong turn and goes to Nebraska. Harry gets mad, and says they are very lost because he drove 1/6 of the country the wrong way, and that they don't have enough $$ to get to Aspen, to get home, to eat, or to SLEEP!! They finally make it, with lots more laughs! This movie was directed by the Farelly Brothers (Shallow Hal, There's Something About Mary) and is very funny. If you haven't seen it or have and want to again, get it! It's Real KOOL!

Review: "Dumb & Dumber" is the writing-directing debut from the creators of "There's Something About Mary",Peter and Bobby Farrelly.Jim Carrey ultimately goes nuts as a limo driver who gets fired from his job and finds a briefcase full of loot by a girl (Lauren Holly) for whom he has a crush on.Jeff Daniels stars as a dog groomer who also gets fired as he and Carrey embark on a comical,rocky-road journey to Aspen,Colorado to return the briefcase.Eventually,they spend all of the money before it's too late.It has non-stop bathroom humor such as the scene where Carrey urinates in a series of beer bottles as they run from the cops,and the famous diarrhea scene where Daniels drinks a cup of coffee that actually has lax in it! I love the screenplay,fine acting (especially Carrey),directing,and sight gags that makes this a fictional funny remake of the Cheech & Chong movie,"Up In Smoke"(1978).Really funny stuff!

Summary: Funniest movie ever created
Review: You will laugh you head off while watching this hilarious comedy. I have seen it about fifteen times and it still makes me laugh out loud. This is by far Jim Carrey's best movie. Something else very important to mention is the quality of the soundtrack. These songs go great with the comic feel of the movie.

Summary: One of the Funniest Movies of All Time
Review: What can I say about "Dumb and Dumber" that hasn't been said already? The acting, especially by Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, respectively, is amazing. Suprisingly, the film has a serious plot, and, if not for the 2 loveable idiots Lloyd and Harry, would be a serious film. But, thankfully, it's not. We have too many of those already. The comedy, while some might call it juvenile, is delievered well and never stops coming. I have watched this movie many times and it still gets me every time. It has staying power, and is as funny now, 10 years later, as it was when it first came out. So, watch it and enjoy yourself. It's impossible not to.
