The best thing about the film is the Cast makes this one appealing (Including Eugene Levy as Biggs's Father) . One of the few good surprises of 1999. Casey Affleck appears Unbilled. Summary: AMERICAN PIE (Unrated Version)
Review: AMERICAN PIE is a comedy about four high school friends (Jim, Kevin, Finch, and Oz) who make a pact to lose their virginity before the night of the high school prom. There's plenty of humor, nudity, and crude gags to make you fall out of your seat laughing.

Summary: I LMAO
Review: I loved this movie about four "unlucky in love" high school friends who make the ultimate pact: lose their virginity by prom night. As they try to manipulate their way into the...hearts of some of their classmates, their plans often backfire with hilarity. This movie is great, funny movie. But I think that American Pie 2 is not going to be as good. It's worth the money especially the unrated version.

Summary: There's something about your first piece!!!!
Review: This is a great ultimate DVD. It has tons of features on two cool looking discs. It also has a cool looking case. It was only. I thought it was going to be more. This movie is very funny. It's not as funny as there's something about mary or road trip but pretty close. I love the gag where the guy's load is in the beer and then stilfer drinks it. Almost as funny as the zipper and hair gel gag in mary. Buy the ultimate DVD. You will love it.

Summary: "American Pie" a tasty treat
Review: Four high school guys, horrified at the thought of the class nerd scoring before them, make a pact to lose their virginity before prom night. This fresh take on the genre has genuinely likable characters (except Stifler) and the guys (except Stifler) actually respect the females that they pursue. Highlights include gross-out gags (see for yourself) and interactions between the hapless Jim (Jason Biggs) and his well-meaning dad (Eugene Levy). Honesty, good characterizations, and talented young cast make this a cut above the rest. In this "unrated" version the differences amount to a few seconds and a different take is used of Jim with the apple pie (again, see for yourself). Extras include commentary, trailers for this and "American Pie 2", a sneak peek at "American Pie 2", spotlight on location, production notes, cast and filmaker profiles, Tonic's "You Wanted More" music video (and a live performance), music highlights, a photograph montage, outtakes, deleted scenes, poster concepts, and classic quotes. Two-disc set has option of widescreen or full frame.

Summary: Flat-out stupid, not to mention bad teen comedy
Review: "American Pie" is just another rehash of teen sex comedies, rating up with "Porky's" as one of the most worst films of the last two decades.

Three sex-crazed teenage boys make a pact to lose their virginity by prom night. (See the similarities?) They then start to plan how to do it, starting off with many dirty nauseatingly raunchy sex jokes (masturbation, sexual orientation) that aren't even funny and it goes downhill from there.

"American Pie" is stupid, raunchy, and crude, to say the least. If you people think this is hilarious, I suggest you consult a psychiatrist. Only Alyson Hannigan gives a good performance, while the others fail miserably.

Rated R for crude sexual humor, language, and for some nudity.

Summary: American Pie
Review: The success of this movie leave one wondering...It does show that it does not take a lot to entertain people. The story is about a bunch of teenagers wanting to get laid, and their embarrasing experiences. The movie is very vulgar and relies completely on vulgar humor to get by. The movie DOES have a point but it is sadly lost among the gimmicks and jokes. The movie is highly overrated, I think. I will say only giggling teenagers can find this funny(or people with an incredible juvenile sense of humor). If you think a guy having sex with a pie, a guy drinking a beer that includes manly fluids is funny then this is definately for you.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Funny, in a juvenile sort of way . . .
Review: Ok, so I admit, this sort of juvenile humor makes me laugh. But lets
get it straight: this is juvenile humor done right. It's still
immature, but its timing is excellent and the casting is superb.
I would strongly suggest you _don't_ watch this film with any
stuck-up people around (friends, family) since you'll probably be
too embarrassed to laugh at certain spots ...

Summary: Humping a Pie!
Review: That is so funny, I can't believe how funny this movie is!

I like the sex with a apple pie scene so much....its almost as funny as the bathroom part in Something About Mary! You know the part when the stuff gets in her hair? That is so funny.

I think movies are much more funnier now then they used to be, because theres lots of funny sex stuff in them! My parents are stupid because they don't like this movie but I do! Boring old movies didn't have any masterbation scenes in them because they were so old. When the girl masterbates its so hot! I like masterbation. But I don't do it THOUGH! My second favorite movie is American Beauty because it has funny sex stuff too with the lady with her legs up in the air and two masterbation scenes! That's so funny.

This is a exellent kids movie for grown ups and kids alike!

Summary: Slice of Pie
Review: American Pie is a throwback to the classic teen films of the 80's with the gross-out, raunchy humor of the 90's mixed in. The film follows the attempts of four friends to lose their virginity by prom night of their senior year in high school. Hardly an original plot, but the actors all give refreshingly honest performances and rise above what could be characatures of teenagers. There are some gross but hilarious scenes including sex with an apple pie, drinking tainted beer and reaction to drinking a laxative. Jason Biggs, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Allyson Hannigan, Sean William Scott and rest of the young actors all give hilarious performances, but it veteran actor and SCTV alum, Eugene Levy who steals every scene he's in as Jim's understanding dad. American Pie is a funny movie that will appeal to all ages.
