Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great love story
Review: For anyone who's ever had a crush on someone, asked someone out, or fallen in love, this movie is worth seeing. I rank it right up there with Casablanca, the Godfather, and Midnight Run as one of my all time favorites.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Boring and waay overrated.
Review: Dull attempt at a romantic film. I didnt like or identify with any of these characters. I found myself disliking all of the self-absorbed twits that I was supposed to have feelings for. Sorry, but i fail to see what the fuss is about.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best movies ive seen
Review: "Lloyd Dobbler..whoa"

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great movie!
Review: People-

My favorite part was when John Cusack was holding the radio playing "In Your Eyes," the Peter Gabriel song... I am a huge fan of Peter Gabriel...

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellence
Review: The film is fabulous and the characters and dialogue are refreshingly real and honest. I like every single thing about this film. I like that Cory wrote 67 songs about Joe and she's going to sing every one of them at the party. I like how Lloyd does the 'nervous talking thing.' I like his brief digression with the guys at the Gas N Sip on a Saturday night. The moments in this film are timeless. This has to be one of the best films of the '80s even if it's not one of the most recognized.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: EXCELLENT
Review: I absolute love this movie. I am a 31 year-old man, and I always get teary at the end.

The scene with Lloyd and his friends at the "Gas N' Sip" is a classic. "Bitches man!"

This film is required viewing for any movie fan.

Summary: "Say Anything" is the best love story of the '80's!
Review: "Say Anything" is an '80's classic. Lloyd Dobbler is the perfect guy in love with the perfect girl. Why aren't there more guys like him? Probably because he is fake, but that's besides the point! Guys should aspire to be Lloyd, the best role John Cusack has ever played. And I adore Ione Skye. Whenever I am feeling down, "Say Anything" can warm me up like no other film ever has. I love when he plays "In Your Eyes" for Diane- would you melt too?

Summary: Awesome!
Review: I was born three years before this movie was made so I didn't have the fortune of seeing it in the theaters (wide screen makes every movie better). But it didn't matter because this movie was fanatastic anyway! I thought the plot and the characters were so realistic and I really understood the dialogue.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The all-time best 80's movie
Review: Although the 80's produced many wonderful movies such as: Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, and St. Elmo's Fire, I will always remember it as the decade that brought us Say Anything. Although this story may seem simple to some (boy likes unattainable girl, boy gets girl, girl dumps boy, eventually they reconcile), there's so much more to it than meets the eye! How many other movies are there that have a girl working in a nursing home? This movie shows a far more caring side of people than we normally see, and that's partly what makes it so good. A common trait that it shares with other movies, such as the Breakfast Club, is its truthfullness, and realistic characters and situations.

The acting in Say Anything is absolutely amazing! John Mahoney does an excellent portrayal of the well-meaning-but-misguided loving father, and proves that he can more than carry off both comedy (see Frasier) and drama. John Cusack is the boyfriend everyone wishes they had, bad boy on the outside, and complete sweetheart on the inside! Ione Skye portrays her character's selfish and generous sides equally well.

I don't think that there is one flaw in this movie, including it's fantastic soundtrack! The scene with Lloyd Dobbler holding up the boombox playing "In Your Eyes" has got to be one of the classics in movie history.

I think that everyone should see this movie, because it holds something for everyone in it!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: It conveys the magic that is love.
Review: The movie portrays the very different lives of two very different people as they begin to think about what they are going to do after high school, a.k.a., "the rest of their lives." Yet, what they know for sure is that they love each other, the rest they'll figure out along the way. The story is a triumph of love over all odds. Cusack plays a character that is the personification of decency. A decency that is a marked contrast with several other characters in the movie and in real life. Watching this movie won't change your life, but it will fill you with a faith that love is not only possible in the most unlikely places, but is the only sure feeling there is.
