Rating: Summary: the best movie!!!!!!!!! Review: IT'S PROBABLY THE BEST MOVIE THERE IS.MY FAVORITE PART IS WHEN HE COMES OUT ON THE PLANE AND SINGS THAT SONG TO DREW BARRYMORE.I HAVE IT.IT IS SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD.
Rating: Summary: If you like Adam Sandler - okay, but movie drags. Review: Adam Sandler has some good character pieces in this movie.(as does Drew and other supporting actors) This movie drags out too long. Editing could have cut another quarter of the movie out.(especially piano tutoring scenes) Sorry Adam, you are very very talented, but this wasn't your best.
Rating: Summary: entertaining but tries a bit too hard Review: Good underlying story line and good guy wins theme that is refreshing. On the down side there are way too many out of place crude lines and gestures. The sheer number of these is what makes it seem like the movie is "trying too hard". Sandler shows a new and very good side of his acting ability.
Rating: Summary: Sandler ventures too far from familiar ground. Review: In this drama/romance, Adam Sandler plays a wedding singer who, as the commercials illustrate, gets left at the altar by his bride-to-be. With the exception of a few amusing lines and scenes, this movie is quite a bore. Rather than making fun of the '80s, as The Wedding Singer aspires to do, it seems like a movie from the past decade itself - not at all funny, cheesy characters and script, not to mention the annoying music and outrageous clothes. If you're used to Sandler's movies like The Waterboy, Happy Gilmore, or Billy Madison, don't see this. Although Sandler has some talent in acting a serious part, this is overshadowed by the poor screenplay and just about everything else in the movie. I warn you, unless you've watched everything else in the video store, and you have roughly two hours in which you can think of absolutely nothing else to do, please refrain from seeing this.
Rating: Summary: Simply the best!! Review: For any child of the 80s or just a fan of a well writen comedy, this movie is for you!! It is fun to look back at the fashions, music and classic "donut" commercial of the 80s!!! This is one of the best movies I've seen in years.
Rating: Summary: The greatest!! Review: Something must be wrong if you don't LOVE this movie!!! One you GOTTA see!!! It will make you want to "grow old" with someone!
Rating: Summary: a movie for the family! Review: finaly a funny movie from adam sandler thax for the family! way better than nerds! this is hillarious!
Rating: Summary: Oh what a wonderful feeling............... Review: A simple movie with a great impact. This movie makes you feel good. Adam Sandlers character is the sweet guy we all looked for way back when..............I could watch it over and over and over. Drew Barrymore has come a long way and is so much better when not playing the 'bad' girl.
Rating: Summary: Sandlar is good Review: Adam plays a great role and is funny but not as funny in other movies a great side we have not seen that much. A funny movie but not as funny as WaterBoy.
Rating: Summary: DVD Sing-along was fun. Like him? Like her? Love it. Review: Do you like Adam Sandler? Do you like Drew Barrymore? Answer either of these yes and you'll like this movie. Answer both yes and you'll love this movie. Don't be pretentious, just enjoy, then sing the songs on the DVD. The language is a little harsh for under 10. Wake the wife for Billy Idol.
