Summary: The Best movie I've seen in a long time
Review: I loved the book, I loved the movie. Mandy Moore is beautiful, Shane West is sexy/sweet. The author really know what true love is, and that not every teenager is naive. He writes about love that can change lives and overcome differences. I can't get enough of it.

Summary: Most touching movie I've ever seen
Review: This is favorite movie ever!!!!!!!! It's the most touching one I've seen since "Beaches." It's basically a movie which capitalizes on the phrase "two opposites attract." Shane West is absolutely awesome and lovable as Landon Carter, a guy who starts off the movie in a bad crowd and only begins to improve his attitude when he gets caught and is forced to take part in some activities that may help him change for the better. Obviously, he meets Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore) along the way. The character Mandy plays in this movie is literally MILES away from the preppy cheerleader image she painted in "The Princess Diaries." Jamie Sullivan is the minister's daughter who clearly doesn't care what anyone else thinks of her; she is sweet, quiet, reserved, and faithful to everyone, whether it be God, her father, or Landon. Personally, after seeing "Princess Diaries," I couldn't imagine Mandy Moore playing anything else than the "popular cheerleader," but I was surprised when I saw "Walk to Remember." She did an excellent job in her role and proved that she can play any kind of character. Ok, so maybe a lot of the singers and pop stars flop when they try converting to the acting business, but don't let that stop you from seeing this movie. Mandy Moore is incredible. The girl can act! This really is the sweetest movie. It had a lot of twists and surprises, at least for me. I went into that movie not knowing what else to expect other than a relationship between two very different people. "A Walk to Remember" is so much more than that. I don't know what else to say other than GO SEE THIS MOVIE NOW!!!! =)

Summary: For true romantics and not too sappy, rather well done
Review: Confession: I love romantic movies, at least when they're well done. This story of a teen who's reluctantly enlisted to play the lead in a play opposite the town goody-goody and slowly finds himself falling in love is absolutely charming - believeable, nicely acted and truly romantic without smacking of I'd already read the book so I knew I had to see this movie (loved the book). Do yourself a favor and read the book first. It won't spoil a thing for you and you'll find yourself looking forward to the movie. But have some tissues nearby. You'll need them!

Summary: The best movie ever!

Summary: Just Read the Book, Don't watch the movie!
Review: I've read ALL Nicholas Sparks' books, and have collections of it all. I was so excited when they made the movie 'A Walk To Remember'. I've seen it on Valentines Day, and I'm so disappointed! The story is totally different than the book. After the movie, I called my friends (long distance) not to watch it. It's a waste of money!

Summary: A Walk To Remember
Review: If you're a romantic, then this is the perfect movie for you to see. It is definitely heart touching. Very well done by both main characters. Finally a movie worth watching more than once.

Summary: PRETTY good...
Review: I adore Mandy Moore. I believe she is the only "pop" singer who actually maintains dignity in every facet of her work, and for that, I admire her (because we know there are a few singers- who will remain nameless- that have NO code of ethics whatsoever).
As for the film, being a critic, I cannot give it a full five stars, simply for one reason...Being that the movie in its entirety was extremely well shot, the acting was above average, and the storyline was refreshing...The only downfall was that they tried to squeeze too much into the end too fast! I was VERY let down by that (when you view it, you will understand what I am talking about). After developing the movie so wonderfully, they should have stuck to the same pattern, instead of trying to fit it all into a nice 1 1/2 hour package.
Go see it though. Support a great young woman who is truly an artist, and very worthy of praise!

Summary: A Movie To Remember.
Review: This movie is certainly one to never be forgotten. It stars the handsome actor Shane West and the very talented Mandy Moore. This movie is based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks and is definetly on my top 3 list. It is one you should go and see or if you don't get a chance, rent it when it comes out. I know I am going to buy it! I saw this movie twice in two days because it is just so good. Once with two friends and the second with my mom. I probably cried harder the second time. I am even to embarassed to cry in front of my friends but it is just so moving that I couldn't hold back the tears. Mandy and Shane did a terrific job and I think that I will see it again this weekend!
