Summary: Pretty Woman
Review: Sometimes fairy tales do come true, and we are all human beings and should be treated as such. I have made good friends with, have lived with, been engaged to, and have married my escort clients over the years, so things are not black and white as the popular misconceptions and preconceived notions in this society and culture. Maybe Gere's character went to the streets to get a lower rate, because her overnight rate was much too cheap!

Summary: what a sad joke?
Review: if this were everyday Hooker life then this would be the ultimate job.but it's a far cry from that.while Gere&Roberts have on-screen Chemistry this film is not Believable at all.fantasy is one thing but this is a real reach.

Summary: Not the best movie ever, but...
Review: I've seen better movies before (like Planet of the Apes, for example) but this movie was pretty interesting. The movie has a great cast with strong characters. My personal favorite is Francine, Vivian's (Julia Roberts) street smart older sister whose dream in life is to be a ballerina. The musical numbers from the film are great, particularly the duet between Kit and Vivian.

Summary: Sublime romantic comedey
Review: I thought that "Pretty Woman" was a fantastic movie about love. When two worlds come together unexpectidly and fall in love, when one of them has just fallin out of love. Neither of the two never really experienced true love. Edward Louis's dull, lonley world changes when Vivian Ward, a hooker, gives him directions to his hotel. One thing leeds to another, and he pays her $3000 to spend the week with him in his penthouse suite in Beverley Hills. To Vivian, this is a dream world come true. But it ends up being like home, as they fall in love. The both of them change worlds for each other, for the best. Edward is no longer a lonley, hard man anymore, and Vivian isn't a street walking hooker anymore. They help each other find love. I recomend this romantic comedey for anyone who likes to fall in love. The two perform amazinly together, its almost like a fairy tale.

Summary: PLEASING FAIRY TALE
Review: Garry Marshall and company pull off an incredible feat with this movie: a hooker on Hollywood Boulevard steals you heart and everything else in the stunning person of Julia Roberts. We never really delve in to Julia's obviously troubled past with much concern, nor do we much care that she clearly states, with candor, her no-no rules when it comes to making whoopie. No, this movie is essentially a delightfully fresh and frothy fairy tale that just so happens to have a rich, devastatingly handsome -- and loose, winning -- Richard Gere in a state of emotional frigidity, and a gorgeous, grinning, leggy prostitute who wants (and we are convinced) deserves a prince to carry her away. Taken on its own breezy and often amusing terms, Pretty Woman charms the pants off of you. Look for Jason Alexander in a pre-Seinfeld turn as a piggish lawyer-type, and Hector Alizondo in his career-making turn as a Hotel Director that wandered in from Touched By An Angel. Grown-up fun, silly, and irresistable.

Summary: A true DVD experience
Review: Everyone probably knows the great tale of Pretty Woman, or at least so you think until you experience it on DVD. When you see it on DVD you also have the advantage of being able to view it while the director, Gary Marshall, comments on how it came to be and the interesting aspects within the movie that you would never get to hear, until now. Finding out what happened to Julia Roberts in her famous bubble bath scene or the significance of the Bev Reg Will hotel are just a few of the fantastic tales you will learn about.

Summary: A must see
Review: I think this one of the greatest movies ever made and it makes a great deal of sense to those who are seeking to climb up a ladder and make their lives better. This is more than a movie, it is an inspiration

Summary: If you love Pretty Woman, buy the DVD!
Review: I've seen Pretty Woman twice in its theatrical release and maybe seven times on video, but when I got hold of the DVD and watched it with my family, it opened a whole new dimension of my liking to the film. The cause: Garry Marshall's commentary.

The director's views about his treatment of the film, behind-the-scene tidbits, and other pre-take preparations deserve a movie of its own. His natural wit and fluidity will make watchers want to look at the scene just described and try to bridge the original perception of the film with its new breadth. He should star in one of his films.

Summary: really romantic and cute..
Review: julia roberts is easily one of the most spontaneous actresses hollywood has ever seen, even in pretty woman, she's really pretty and sweet..richard gere is really good too.its really funny and really worth a watch.(did i mention that my sister's nose really resembles that liftman's nose in the hotel?)

Summary: VERY GOOD (CONSIDERING ITS A MOVIE)
Review: THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES EVER,AND NO ONE ELSE COULD HAVE POSSIBLY HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB THAN JULIA ROBERTS AND RICHERD GERE,BUT IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT,THINGS LIKE THAT NEVER WOULD HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE,WOULD THEY??? BUT WHAT MADE IT A GOOD MOVIE WAS ITS PLOT,AND STORY LINE,WHICH MADE IT ONE OF THE MOST IRRESISTIBLE ROMANTIC/COMDIES OF ALL TIME.DEFINTELY NOT A WASTE OF MONEY!
