Review: I would see this movie a thousand times over again. I can't wait until it comes out on video/DVD. Reese Witherspoon is an incredible actress who played this part perfectly.

Review: Shallow, childish, noisy and disgusting. I'd never thought Weatherspoon would wasted her talent in accepting this elementary school levelled script. Simply proved to be horrible after 5 minutes. No one who got a role in this pathetic movie is IN it. This movie makes the people at both ends, New York and Alabama so disgustingly shallow and childish. I've never seen a movie trying to be funny but failed to deliver such effect in the least. Watch out Ms. Weatherspoon, don't be fooled by the boxoffice record. If you keep playing such role in such miserable levelled movies, three times, you're out. For me, I'd think twice already before picking up one more movie played by you in the future.

Summary: Cute Movie
Review: I thought this was/is a cute movie. It is not supposed to be some "deep" movie; it's just a fun romantic comedy. Reese Witherspoon has good timing and is just funny. I laughed alot in this movie, as did the other 4 people who saw it with me. If you want to see a movie to get a good laugh, then see this. It is not quite as good as Legally Blonde, but it is enjoyable. If you like Reese Witherspoon, you'll like this.

Review: I thought this movie was great! It's a fun and happy movie, and it's Reese in her natural element. Being a Southern girl myself, it was funny to see the way they portrayed people in a small Southern town. This really a sweet movie about the magic of a first love that lasts through whatever you can throw at it! Anyone can identify with her being embarrassed and ashamed (even if it's a different topic) and nearly any girl would give her right arm to be taken to Tiffany's to have her pick of any engagement ring there! It's the perfect rags-to-riches-princess-who-gets-the-RIGHT-prince-in-the-end story!

Review: The wedding sequence ,as well as the mansion exteriors and some of the interiors, was filmed outside my home town of Rome, Georgia at Berry College, and my son was an extra. Besides which, what true Southerner wouldn't love a movie about a girl who cries over the grave of a beloved coon hound?

Review: This is probably the best chick flick I have even seen! It is funny and whitty! All the characters are very funny and the movie is well acted. I would recomend this to anyone who loves Resse and anyone who like a good comedy that has a romantic part too!

This is one movie that you won't have to force your boyfriend, brother, or dad into watching! Sweet Home Alamaba is one of the best romantic comedies I have seen in a long time! Sweet, super funny, and who doesn't love Reese Witherspoon?!?

Review: This "romantic comedy" is yet another proof that hollywood has no idea of real love and meaningful relationships. The characters are poorly drawn, shallow stereotypes. The comedy fell flat - what's funny about a lying, self-centered, superficial wench who wants to have her cake and it too!? What total predictable, uninspired tripe. If you want romantic comedy try a classic like "It happened One Night" or the more recent "Undercover Blues". They're wonderfully formulaic without being pathetic.

Review: This film had so much potential to be funny. There was bubbly and adorable Reese, hunky Josh, and a rich girl goes back to hometown plot...but with the predictable script, it was just, well, too predictable, for a lack of words. At times, you wanted to yawn and wait for that boring scene to end and get to the good stuff, but there just wasn't any! Unless you have the humor mentality of a 10 year old teenybopper, there was no way this could be funny! I consider myself a very open-minded when it comes to humor, but when you can guess what's going to happen next the first time you see the dang movie, it gets tiring waiting for that unpredictable moment. C'mon, you all knew Reese and Josh were going to get together in the end!

Review: if youre going to be a serious movie sinic and sit down to watch this, you will find as many problems with it as you want. however this is a homegrown warm and happy flick. guys i hope you wont watch it alone but if you want to watch a movie with your woman then this is a good choice, she'll prolly like and/or envy it. nice original chick-flick with a well-thought and resonable plot.
