Rating: Summary: It lacks believability Review: I love Meg ryan and Tom Hanks, but this story just isn't believable. They actually hardly ever interact. I thought "You've Got Mail" was way better. I think this movie was over-rated by critics. Meg Ryan's character was just not to be believed. The ending was a thud for me.
Rating: Summary: Sleepy in seat Review: Maybe I am among the few, but I call it as I see it, and SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE bored the heck out of me. Sure, the Tom Hanks character's wife died, and that's tragic, but his feeling sorry for himself did not win my support. Beyond that, there is not much of a story to hold your interest. I have nothing against blind dates. But if they expect us to believe that any sane woman is going to travel out of state to meet some sad-sack she heard on the radio, you've seen too many movies. Or at least one too many, SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE.
Rating: Summary: Meg and Tom are the most enchanting actors Review: For anyone who likes to laugh, cry, and just feel warm. It has a comedic edge with a mix of romance and hope. Meg Ryan is by far the most talented actress. Her and Tom Hanks capture the screen and cast a warm glow. If you enjoy this movie, which I'm possitive you will, then check out...French Kiss, Joe vs. the Volcano, When Harry Met Sally, and You've Got Mail. All cast the same spell and transform your mood. They're definetly "pick-me-up" movies for anyone who's feeling down, lonely, or needs a laugh.
Rating: Summary: Cute, but overrated Review: This is a cute movie, very appealing if you're in the right mood. But I personally don't think it's as good as people say it is. It is romantic, but I liked You've Got Mail better.
Rating: Summary: "It was better than You've Got Mail... Review: ..thats for sure. This romantic comdey shows signs of genius, but falls short of knocking "When Harry Met Sally" from it rightful place as best romantic comedy.
Rating: Summary: If you see only one romantic comedy in your life....... Review: ......it should be Sleepless in Seattle. It is a wonderful movie and is worth seeing multiple times.Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are superb! And if you love Sleepless, don't miss An Affair to Remember and You've Got Mail.
Rating: Summary: One of-if not my FAVORITE movie of all time Review: I loved this movie and every time I see it (I must have seen it 10 times now) it seems to get better. It is romantic, funny, sad and heartwarming all at the same time. The cast is great,I love Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks together...and although I love her, Rosie O'Donnell is not such a great actress most of the time-BUT she shines in this movie. It's perfect.
Rating: Summary: Wonderfully romantic Review: I have seen this movie I don't know how many times; and every time it just keeps getting better and better. It funny and romantic, and it gives hope to all of us who have yet to find that special someone. Heartwarming and wonderfully romantic, this is a movie for all of us who are still searching ...
Rating: Summary: Why is this for only 'USA & Canada' Review: You as one of the biggest 'service' provider I can not accept that you only serve to a limited area. If you are somebody serving at internet that means you are serving to The World so if I do not find any video tape-copy in PAL/SCAM system for me thennnnnn, that means you have a problem......
Rating: Summary: Funny, witty and full of surprises! Review: This film hails as one of the best I've seen in years. The acting between Hanks and Ryan is rated a 10. Even though its just a movie, I came away thinking what if... Watching this film always puts a smile on my face. I guess in my heart of hearts, I'll always be a hopeful romantic.
