Rating: Summary: What About Bob? . . . What About Leo? Review: I saw it in the theatre and laughed so hard I kicked over my soft drink. "What About Bob" is genuinely successful and thoroughly enjoyable because it perfectly blends all the requisites of good storytelling with reflections from our current culture. This masterpiece overflows with verbal and situational irony, surprising plot developments and, of course, impeccable characterization. Even the minor roles are extremely well casted. Why is this the funniest comedy Dreyfuss and Murray have ever done? Because the cast appears so uninhibited. It's as if their takes were not constantly interrupted or modified by power-hungry directors. Let's face it. There are only two types of people in the world today -- those who can't deal with their own phobias -- and those who can't deal with other people's phobias.
Rating: Summary: Cracks me up everytime Review: Yeah, Bob has accomplished driving his shrink nuts, just what the mental health profession does to millions with their treatments. I can't remember how many times I've seen this movie but its one I'll never tire of and thats for sure! Thanks Bob and Gil for your many laughs you given.
Rating: Summary: MUST SEE FOR ALL! Review: What About Bob ? is literally the best movie that has ever been made. It is a comedic phenomenon of outrageous proportion. Bill Murray is the one and only person to play Bob Wiley. If you haven't seen it -- you are missing something.
Rating: Summary: We all have problems: Hot sweats, cold sweats, dead hands... Review: It is the best movie ever. Bob Wiley shows us that it's our imperfections that are appealing to others. Not the controlled tendancies of Dr. Leo Marvin. Serininty now! The trick it to let the boat do the work" "I really do look better than that picture" "Is this corn hand shucked?" --All are classic and need to be put on a DVD format some day. One of the best performances from the SNL cast.
Rating: Summary: The BEST MOVIE EVER MADE Review: This is the best movie ever. If you have ever experienced any sort of OCD or related problem this will be even funnier to you. BOB is the most lovable character, and the with Richard Dryfus the two are amazing together. I have seen it about 100 times, and EVERY time find new interesting things to observe, and use it as medicine when I am sad or sick. There is something for everyone, and of course my fish is named GIL. My favorite line..."Oh, so you're Betty....? "
Rating: Summary: A laugh out loud comedy Review: I totally cracked up the first time I saw it because it was oneof those films that gets more and more ridiculous as it goeson. First, Dreyfuss tries to treat one of his patient and instead, the patient drives him crazy by endearing himself to his family (how that happens is funny in itself). Dreyfuss is always great as a keyed up personality that doesn't take much to rile him. And Murray, what can I say about him? I still laugh out loud after repeated viewings.
Rating: Summary: Best thing to come along since Ice cream! Review: Our family loves this movie sooo much that we named our fish', Dr. Marvin, Bob, and Gill....good morning Gill....I said, good morning Gill! Wholesome family entertainment (minus "terrets syndrome", we just cough loudy during that part!)
Rating: Summary: Awesome! Review: Bill Murray is a riot, and Dreyfuss does an excellent job. Great movie, very clean. Whole-family movie. This is a good tool to take a vaction "FROM-MY-PROBLEMS!" and of course - "i feel good, i feel great, i feel wonderful." HIGHLY recammended.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely perfect! I nearly jumped out of my skin! Review: "What about Bob?" is one of these movies you can watch a dozen times and never get tired about laughing at the gorgeous characters. The story is amazing, and so are Dreyfuss and Murray (thanks guys, what about bob? is definitely the best therapy whenever you're a little off the hook. You stand up, and you shout : "Baby steps, I will do it. Baby steps..."
Rating: Summary: Funny! Funny! Funny! Review: This is the best movie I have ever seen and you should at least watch it once. Bill is so funny I fell of the couch laughing.
