Summary: The best move Mel Brooks ever made.
Review: This is the best movie Mel Brooks ever made--and probably one of the funniest movies ever made! The cast was perfect. An excellent transfer to DVD with very interesting supplimental materials.

Summary: Young Frankenstein, totally awesome!
Review: I have just finished watching the movie "Young Frankenstein", I am still laughing. What a totally awesome, funny movie this is. Mel Brooks is definitely a comic genius and his talents as a director and a writer are remarkable in this movie. The acting is superb by all: Gene Wilder, Teri Garr, Cloris Leachman, Marty Feldman, Madeline Kahn, and especially by Peter Boyle as the monster. Also worth mentioning is Gene Hackman playing the old blind man, probably the funniest scene in the movie. Also the scene between the monster and the little girl and the part where Dr. "Fronkensteen" and the monster do the number "Putting on the Ritz". An all time classic in every way!

Summary: The best Monster spoof ever! Mel Brooks is a genius!
Review: Young Frankenstein is one of the funniest films I have ever seen. I love monster movies, yet I found this movie to be a comedy masterpiece. In my opinion Peter Boyle is the greatest Frankenstein Monster of all time. It is just too bad the film was not made in color. I have seen color photos of Peter Boyle's monster make-up and it looks terriffic in color! A well done comedy and Mel Brook's best.

Summary: Genius
Review: I want to join in the raves. The movie is great, and its better with each viewing.

One moment that doesn't get enough attention: The scene between Peter Boyle (as the monster) and Gene Hackman (as the blind man) may be the funniest slapstick scene of all time. "Come back! I was going to make espresso!"

You should get this without delay. The Brooks commentary makes it even more invaluable.

I have one last comment:

"Put ... the candle ... BECK!!!!"

Summary: Another Mel Brooks classic
Review: If you don't love laughing until all of your insides are in extreme pain. Please don't see this film. I also recommend to check your blood pressure before seeing this film.

Summary: The greatest of all time....
Review: Simply put, the best Brook's has ever released. I have seen the movie literally hundreds of times, and I swear I still notice things I hadn't seen before. The humor runs from incredibly subtle to in-your-face so easily that is hard to notice every joke that is presented. Expertly produed in all aspects, this is a must own for all movie fans.

Review: This is my favourite film, one that everybody ought to see, at least once in their lives. It is perfect. Not only is it funny, it is also well acted and perfectly directed. The screenplay is excellent. Each scene is simply perfect. There are no parts you would wish different My favourite line is: "Could be worse.... Could be raining!". But then, thinking about it, every line comes to be my favourite!!!!
