Summary: A Woman's Right to Sex
Review: I just love this show. I'm a Charlotte, most definitely, but the diversity of these four friends keeps me coming back for more. Now that Sex has ended, I have to have them all......I have come to love each of these women, and HBO made a spectacular ending for this show, in my opinion.

My favorite episode in this set is "A Woman's Right to Shoes". Just before the show aired, I received criticism from someone regarding how much I spend on my clothes and shoes. I actually felt shamed for shopping where I like to shop, even though no children were neglected due to my spending habits! When "A Woman's Right to Shoes" aired, I felt completely vindicated. I was able to watch a repeat of my favorite episode again last night, and I feel so empowered, I may just go buy a new outfit today!

Thank God for Sex!

Summary: Part 1??? This is just awful!
Review: I can not believe that after putting out season 5 at full price, even though it was shortened due to Parker's prenancy, HBO (Time Warner) has the nerve to break season six up into two parts.

I already had to keep HBO several months longer so that we could see the end of the series but, this is just a terrible way to treat loyal fans of the show.

Corporate greed wins again.

Summary: Love this show!!
Review: Yes, season 5 was over priced, but if you are a loyal fan then just buy it and call it a day! hey jaiso, glad to see a guy likes the show!

Summary: HBO Did It Again!
Review: After pricing Season 5 for $32, HBO did it again! Pricing $32 for half a season! Again, if you want to fight piracy, you should respect people who buy original copies by pricing the DVDs reasonably! The most I'd pay for 12 episodes would be $20! I will gladly pay $30 for the entire season or $35 for both Season 5 and 6! And you know what? A lot of people turned to the pirated copies because of the arrogant people such as those in HBO demanded an unreasonable price!

Summary: Are you kidding?
Review: I'd put off buying season 5 because of the astronomical price (considering how many episodes you actually get). Now they expect you to pay the same price for half of season six!? I love the show, but they released all the other seasons in their entirety. HBO, you're way too money hungry for me. I'm already paying to subscribe...I can't afford to piss my money into the wind on half a season! Disgraceful.

Summary: Love Sex and the City BUT.........
Review: I am a true fan to sex and the city, I did feel really cheated by paying full price for season 5 and it was cut really short because of Sarah Jessica Parker, whom is the one I like the least on the show, but she get's all the praise. Now they are splitting up season six which is a bunch of crap, but because I am a true fan, and refused to buy hbo because I was cheated on season 5, I missed season six. The show was pulled because Sarah Jessica Parker did not like Kim Catrall, and the show would not be the same without either so I am pissed they pulled the plug, but I still love it, and it's time to end it some shows were getting stupid.

Summary: Part 2 better have all the goods!!!
Review: I was excited to see that Season 6 was about to come to DVD but a little disturbed that they were splitting it into 2 sets. However, I'm hoping that HBO will come up with the goodies with this manuever. Set #1 hopefully will contain the first half of the season (12 episodes) and more importantly Set #2 will have the 8 episodes and that "Good-Bye" hour show HBO aired before the last episode plus some other bonus materials for us devoted SATC fans.

Yes, I too was upset about the price for Season 5's truncated set (luckily I got a gift card to a local CD/DVD place so I didn't feel bad paying that price), so I'm hoping that HBO will make it up to us with Season 6's DVDs.

Summary: Frustratingly Great
Review: This show is so frustrating because it is so darn expensive, and because of that it's not a great value ... unlike the "New Sex Now" dvd which is a life-changing little video, with a painless price. But this Sex and the City is just a great video with a painful price.

Summary: Love the show...shame on HBO
Review: The show was amazing. Loved it, loved the characters, the stories. HBO however is plain and simple greedy with the pricing of the dvd sets for seasons 5 and the split season 6 sets. It is a slap in the face to fans that want to buy them. I bought seasons 1-4 and love them. They are worth the price even though you get 0 extras. No interviews at all, no special dvd behind the scenes nada. There is NO reason to split season 6 up in 2 except for them to make much more money. Greedy and shameful.

Summary: A Must Have
Review: For all you Sex and The City girls, this is a must buy! Sesaon six may be short, but all with completion! Carrie and the girls take New York by storm and with all the drama (and sex) how could you miss this part of the show! For devoted fans, pick up this season. TBS will have short to offer us who like own show raw and uncensored. If you are thinking of watching this show on basic cable, think again! Only the real version of this show will suffice.
