Summary: A o.k film.
Review: This film is alrite for little children, but for any one over the age of 12 years old they will fing this film a bit boring.

It has no real stroy line to it, & it did'nt make me laugh once, actully i really even doubt young chlidren will like this film.

Yet again dissipointed by steve martin, i can still remember when he usto have roles in good films like dirty rotten scoundrels, but those days mayb well be over.

the only thing that even kept me watching this film was, ashton kutcher & Tom Welling ( also knowen as the good looking boy from smallville)

so i would encoreage people to give this film a miss, by not watching it you not really missing anything.

Summary: Fun for Young Families - Not for everyone
Review: .
Young families - 3 stars
Everyone Else - 1-2stars (don't bother)

Summary:
Not a good movie for everyone. But a fun one for young families.

Go to it with some enthusiasm if you have young kids (8 & under) because they can relate to the antics, and parental ridiculousness and the general raucousness.

If your kids are older, avoid this film because it is too dumb for your teenagers.

Story:
Steve Martin plays Tom Baker, a very dedicated, loving dad and husband with 12 kids who is a great coach for a small school so he can best care for his family...until he gets his dream position at his old college team.

Kate Baker (Bonnie Hunt) his wife decides to publish her book on the wonder and chaos of raising 12 children at the greatest moment of family and spousal need. Thus, abandoning the life of the great mother/author, she leaves Martin alone with the 12 kids just as they move into their new home, in a big new town, scary new schools, few new friends, and her husbands new demanding job.

Some funny scenes, kind of reminds me of the chaos in our own home as we juggle multiple businesses to pay the bills for our children including a severely handicapped child - but ours exists with a supportive wife/mother - so the chaotic pain is supported, not abandoned.

I suppose others can say this is a poor movie because the loving Mom really screws everyone else up with her untimely wants. But, the kids enjoyed it for its fun and frolic.

Summary: Cheaper By The Dozen Review
Review: I really liked this movie. It was funny. I recommend it for kids and people who like funny stuff. My favorite part was when 11 of the kids played tricks on Hank, the oldest daughter's boyfriend.

Summary: 'Could've easily been shown on FOX FAMILY!
Review: Theatrical releases, supposedly, offer more than the fare that one finds on the small screen. Producers of these have the luxury of acquiring A-level actors and, conversely, A-level scripts.

Well, "Cheaper By the Dozen" does sport a star that frequently rises to the occasion in quality material (Steve Martin), an ingenue for the teenybopper set (Hilary Duff), a hunk on the rise ("Smallville's Tom Wellig) and an actor whose fame and popularity is mindboggling (Ashton Kutcher). It's sad, however, that these performers, along with Bonnie Hunt, Richard Jenkins, and the other ten kids, are saddled with such a derivative script.

I mean, Lucille Ball & Henry Fonda, Brian Keith & Doris Day, and Robert Reed & Florence Henderson tred upon the same domestic waters in "Yours, Mine, and Ours," "With Six, You Get Eggroll," and television's "The Brady Bunch" with better results.
You know, the pratfalls of raising a HUGE family and still maintaining two careers.

SPOILERS: The adolescent humor consists primarily of falling chandeliers, slipping on body fluids, exploding playground equipment, a wayward frog, and a truly juvenile scene involving groundbeef and an actor's crotch.

Certainly, the stuff of "quality" filmmaking!

In hindsight, I'm not sure if this one would make the grade on Fox Family!

Summary: A G rated family
Review: This is a G rated family. I found the story warm, appealing, and loving. Wow! a wonderful statement about families. Cheaper by the Dozen includes numerous comedy interactions between Steve Martin and the kids. Some of the scenes almost come directly out of cartoon "Family Circle": swap the apples, repelling down the house, crashing the birthday party, and football in the backyard; the brilliant female "Dennis the Menace" - who master minded the attack on Nora's boyfriend, the "Dagwood" image of housewife rising to the top of her writing career and Steve Martin the business like football coach and hilarous interactions between each other. (I thought the cast work well together-it was very believable group); the break away from tradition families values with Nora living together with her boyfriend, the advertising starin opposition to her parents;and her redemption after request help to find her missing brother, saying, "Dad, I quess he won't make the cut". Its a great story of a families love and friendship with their father and his love towards his children and wife. Its one of the greatest "feel good" movies of the year.

Summary: Perfact for any family
Review: When I saw this movie, I wanted to have 12 kids of my own one day! It was so funny, I saw this movie 5 times before I decided to take a break. The day it comes out, my family will be one of the first to get it. It has Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt, Tom Welling, Piper Perabo, Hilary Duff, *Jacob Smith, Alyson Stoner, Kevin Schmidt, Morgan York, Forest Landis, Liliana Mumy, Blake Woodruff, Brent and Shane Kinsman, and of corse, the wonderful dog, Gunner. Jacob Smith, is my favorite one on this movie. He really ties the family together. It's a great show and I encourage you to see it!

Summary: I LUVED IT
Review: Cheaper by the Dozen was very funny. It tells you alot to appreciate your family.

What was very funny about it was the dad Tom Baker (played by Steve Martin) trying to keep the kids in shape while the mom Kate Baker (played by Bonnie Hunt) was in NYC. Then the kids start messing up the house.

You should see this movie. It is REALLY funny and it is a really good movie for parents and thier kids to enjoy.

Summary: Watch It With Your Family!
Review: If you watch this movie with zero expectations, then you're gonna enjoy yourself!

I saw this movie with my parents and my three younger brothers and we could totally relate to this movie! There are some funny bits at first, but the movie gets emotional after the first hour. It's basically about the children feeling neglected by their parents, who are both reaching for their own personal dreams.

I wanted to see this movie because i was impressed with the list of stars involved. Steve Martin, Hilary Duff, Piper Perabo, Tom Welling and Ashton Kutcher. Except for Steve Martin, the rest of them just make and appearance or two in the movie. No doubt they were included in the movie as a crowd-puller.

The young actors were the ones fully involved with the movie. They were cute and naughty but i have to say, that twelve is TOO BIG a number! I didn't really get to know the characters, so none of them were memorable to me.

Anyway, it's an entertaining movie to watch. Watch it with your whole family!
