Review: Dazed and Confused Milla Jovovich fans be warned, she is listed in the credits, but only has about 2 lines of dialog and 37 seconds of screen time in the whole movie. I think her biggest line was "Yes." Her longest scene was about 10 seconds of looking at a lighter.

Summary: A great movie that really shows what the 70's were like.
Review: What a funny and entertaining movie. My big brother graduated from H.S. in Colorado in 1977 and I was in 7th grade so I remember those times fondly. The fashion, music, language and mood of the movie were right on target with the mood of the 1970's. The movie dosen't take itself to seriously and neither did the 1970's. Now that it is the new millenium, maybe we should take a lesson from the 70's and roll one up, kick back and Have a Nice Day! The acting was great and the music is fantastic. The director and producer have made a classic! Highly recommended!

Summary: Dazed and confused junkie
Review: Ok,so im 19 now and have no idea about the seventies,ok so im English and ok i laugh at anyone now wearing flares but this movie is withouht doubt one of the greatest teen movies ever. Not much happens,but it is funny nothing.Kids get high,kids get drunk but it always has the same feel to it and anyone my age in any country will get it.What's next?Where my school years the best ?Or is it going to get worse? The cast make the most of a wonderfull script and Matthew Mccounahry is brilliant.Also Ben Afflick shows his early promise as the Senior who has been kept down for reasons that the others can only see as so he can smack more freshmen about. I love this film and it never gets boring,the only other films that do that to me are Kevin smith films.If you love Kevin Smith,you will enjoy this film and love it like your own child.

Summary: Dazed and Confused Junk
Review: I was expecting a lot from this movie, having seen and enjoyed Linklater's earlier film SLACKER . But DAZED AND CONFUSED (no Led Zep anywhere!) just rambles without end, a near-complete bore. The subplot involving the bully who hazes unsuspecting freshmen is funny but smacks of Hollywood more than anything else.It is possible to make a film showing bored and shiftless people marking time. It's difficult, but it can be done (I recommend L'AVVENTURA). DAZED AND CONFUSED has no organic tension, none of the characters possesses the individuality necessary to make us care for him/her, and the story itself leaves us no more enlightened than we were before. Review: This movie is pure genius. If there were any justice, it would have changed the way all movies are made. There just isn't anything that captures the feelings of being a kid like this. If you've ever had a beer in the back of a pickup truck while the sun starts to set, this is a film for you.

Review: This is my all-time favorite movie. It is so wonderful. I would recommend it to any teen anywhere, you don't even have to have been a teen in the 70's to enjoy it. I mean, I am a teen now, and I love it. I have watched it countless times. In fact, I am about to order the two soundtracks from Amazon because I love them too. The movie is funny, interesting, and has a ton of great lines. "Hey, hey, hey, watch tha leather man, a-ha-ha-ha" "dominant male monkey motha..." Don't understand those quotes? You better go get the movie!

Summary: The Best Film Ever about High School
Review: This is the best film about high school ever made. It is also a great film about America. Linkletter has a perfect-pitch ear for dialogue and a keen understanding of the nuances of high school politics. It's an odd film. Only the weakest narrative is supplied, and little of real moment happens. This proves to be one of its strengths, as it allows Linkletter to focus on his characters. With deft understatement, he renders dead-on depictions of American high schoolers. It's a thoroughly enjoyable film, but it's more an experience than a story. And it's an experience you'll want to have again and again. I've seen it at least ten times and have yet to grow the least bit tired of it. Dazed and Confused was pitched as a zany high school hijinx flick/70s nostalgia trip. That's not a completely inaccurate description: it *is* a hilarious film and, because its portrait of 70s teen life is so studied and honest, it's like bottled nostalgia (well, at least for those of us who were children of the 70s). But this film is so much more. Rent it--or buy it--now.

Summary: Excellent Teenage Movie
Review: Dazed and Confused is an exceptional movie that speaks to anyone who has ever been through high school. You can relate to anyone of the characters in the movie and can understand the struggles they are going through. Solid performances by Jason London and Ben Affleck help bring the story together. This movie should serve as motivation to high schoolers everywhere, to go and have fun. There isn't much better than this movie but the two soundtracks come very close. Overall an excellent movie and a definite good time.

Summary: Nearly perfect depiction of 70's high school life...
Review: Funny, realistic and boasting a flawless cast, this modern classic is a treat from beginning to end. Many of the young stars have gone on to much greater fame (including a nearly unrecognizable Matthew McConaughey and a somewhat-heavier Ben Affleck), and Wiley Wiggins nearly steals the entire movie as Mitch. I think the best part of the movie is the fact that it is a reminder of the times when all sorts of different social groups...the stoners, the jocks, the freshmen...could all be friends. It's amazing how superficial high school has become. For a fun flub, watch carefully during the scene in which the guys go to the convenience store to buy beer....as they get out of the car, you can see the reflection of the camera and several crew members in the car door.
