Review: The DVD won't play. This was a Christmas gift for my father and clearly I didn't read the description well because as most have figured out, it is not acutally the movies. The bigger disappointment was that the DVD wouldn't even play.

Review: The Marx Brothers Collection which is a set of 5 DVDs does not perform correctly in the DVD. 3 out of 5 of our DVDs will not play when the "play" selection is highlighted. It will not even allow you to "highlight" the play selection. This was bought as a Christmas gift and I should be entitled to a full refund.

Review: The trailers, old clips and radio show are all interesting and good for the collection of the diehard fan. I bought mine for $20 so you may want to search around if you're interested. For those who really want the movies, skipping this set will not be any big loss.

MARX BROS. COLLECTION!!!!! Be forewarned, and complain to the management here. I bet they don't publish this, though. However, I am going to post to every Marx-related newsgroup and anybody else I can think of.

Summary: Marx Brothers Garbage Collection
Review: This 5-disc set really stinks. It appears that someone scooped up a bunch of forgotten Marx Brothers TV interviews, failed TV sitcom footage, radio show failures & other crappy clips that were floating out there in "public domain" and they bought the rights and burned them to DVD... WARNING: Don't buy this product!!! It is mildly interesting, but once you see it, you never want to see or hear it again. One disc has Groucho & Chico doing a radio performance and the video screen just shows a still pic of the two of them in front of the radio microphone. Please! This is a waste of money and time. Nice packaging though. :-)

Review: This collection was originally advertised as being four Paramount movies plus a documentary!! So I ordered and just receuved it and it has NO MOVIES! This is a complete deception!

Review: This is a bunch of crap that is being sent back. Amazon should cover the cost of return shipping because of deception. I was expecting 5 of their best movies based on Amazon's review when I ordered the set. Instead, I received something totally different.
My husband is now out of a Christmas gift. Shame on Amazon!!!
