Review: I was recently introduced to the magical hilarity that is Eddie Izzard. Never in my life have I laughed so hard at a comedy routine. Izzard has the amazing ability to personify the most mundane, everyday things in the most thought provoking way. His routines are funny without unnecessary violence or mocking or vulgarity. He is an amazing performer that can only be improved with a little lipstick and a pair of kicky high heels. I would definitely recommend Eddie as a top drawer comedian.

Review: glorious is indeed th eonly word to describe eddie izzard...his comedy is truly unique, and this video is a fortunate reference to his style and ability. taking a journey on the loose thread of the old/new testaments and encoring with revelations is brilliant. i really find it hard to express my feelings or define what makes him so amazing, but you just won't take your eyes or ears off of him. it's not just what he says, but the way he says it. simply glorious...

Review: I bought this video because I saw "Dress to Kill" on HBO recently. It nearly gave me a hernia it was so funny. I have shared "Dress to Kill" with several friends. They are now converts too! I won't rest until I get my hands on every piece of work he's done. I'll never look at Englebert Humperdink the same way again

Review: No, it's definitely not as funny as Definite Article. But, it is still very funny, and for those US based Eddie Izzard fans who are jonesing for a fix, this is a no brainer, must have. Besides, it does have the famous James Mason and Sean Connery impressions, as well as the hilarious computer bit at the end

Review: The man is a genius. "Glorious" is the only thing I've seen by him, and although I have heard that this is not his best work, and though he fumbles occasionally but picks right back up, I must say that he is the funniest comedian I have ever seen. I've watched it 3 times, and each time I laughed so hard I cried. His comedy is very stream-of-conciousness, and there's a gentleness to it, even when he swears. Also, he never puts others down just to get a cheap laugh. Well, maybe he puts the queen down a bit, but it's not spiteful. Anyways, I highly recommend it
